I just got married here on 11/12/22, I had booked the event space a year in advanced, and I will say throughout the year Debbie was very helpful with everything I needed. I fell in love with the high ceilings, with the exposed beams, and all of the wood….not to mention the amazing, large covered deck that looks out over the golf course and on past to the mountains. We held our rehearsal dinner here as well. The girls that worked our rehearsal dinner and ceremony were so amazing…and of course the food was amazing! I had non-vegetable eaters raving over Chef JJ’s Brussel sprouts, and even had a family member try to recreate them for Thanksgiving. Our wedding was roughly 130 people, and had plenty of room. This is an amazing and affordable place to have a wedding!

We arrived early and seating was wide open. My wife ordered salmon and said it was fine. I ordered blackened chicken and it was tough because of being over cooked. Sides salads were fine. No blue cheese chunks in the dressing. Probably out of a bottle. Fire Brussel sprouts were chunked up with the stems still on them that could not be eaten. We had to pick them up and with our mouth find out what was eatable and what wasn’t. Very messy with sweet sauce all over them. Baked potato was good. $35.69 for two entrees no appetizers and ice water. Tip was on top of that, of coarse. Probably will not go back as I was looking for the best restaurant in Taylorsville.

Got “The Cougar” it was great and tasty. But I went to get all you can eat wings on Thursdays but they informed me they don’t do that anymore. Which I the main reason I went. Kind of lost interest now. Not much to choose from on menu.

Stopped in for my grandfather’s and my birthday lunch. The staff did a phenomenal job at making sure everything and everyone was taken care of, even with a full house! The food was amazing, and I’ll have to stop in again next time I’m in North Carolina.

Found this place on Google maps and so glad we did. Came on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded. Had beautiful views as we enjoyed our lunch. I had the Brushy Mountain club which was awesome. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich which was equally fantastic. Prices are very reasonable and they also have a bar. Our waitress was very nice. I highly recommend.

I personally love having McLindon’s in our county. It has the best atmosphere and views overlooking the golf course. It is also a great place for an event! Perfect for weddings, class reunions, or meetings, and I’ve used several times for this as well. I would much rather eat Chef J.J.’s creations than drive to Hickory any day!

Very disappointed with our take out meal. My hamburger steak was not cooked done. My wife’s grilled chicken was tough and stringy. Have to say the coleslaw was really good. Don’t know if we will be back.

Was too busy to seat my family because of a wedding they were taking care of. Im a manager at a restaurant and i would never be to busy to seat anyone no matter any event happening at my place. Not a good impression for someone who is a new customer. We won’t ever grace ur place ur business again. There was cleary tables available guess we didnt meet the criteria of ur picky staff.
