Hidden gem in the Lehigh Valley. Quaint atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious farm-to-table food. I enjoyed the blackened swordfish, but was jealous of my wife’s smoked short ribs.

Update: Nestled in Pennsylvania farm country, nearly five years later, this is still our favorite place and in my opinion, the truest destination farm to table gormet restaurant, worth the travel, in the entire Lehigh Valley.

I went here several times with my parents back in the late 80’s early 90’s but moved when I got married. We were in the area tonight and decided to go back and try it again. Well, same great food and atmosphere. Two of us had the NY Strip steak and it just melted in your mouth. The “gravy” that went on it was so tasty. Even the vegetables were very good and I don’t like veggies ☺️. My wife had the Bacon Maple glaze salmon and she said it was to die for. The last person in our party had the meatloaf and she said it was like nothing she’s ever had. I think the prices were a little bit high but considering the economic state we are in I guess it’s par for the course. We will definitely be back!

I only had appetizers & wine but really enjoyed this farm to table restaurant. Do wish they had more pescatarian/vegetarian entrees beyond salmon (not a fan). My friend got the chicken – her risotto was tasty! Cute cozy spot with friendly service. Went before Xmas and it was very festive!

This was our first dinner at Curious Goods. We were extremely impressed with both the food and service. As a vegetarian, 99% of the time when I am at a restaurant, I feel totally unappreciated/ripped off when it comes to portion sizes of main dishes, let alone the quality/creativity of vegetarian main dishes. Thankfully, Curious Goods offered not only creative options but also very generous/thoughtful portions. (Most restaurants do not understand that vegetarians need hearty portions since we don’t get our calories from meat or seafood.) The vegetarian risotto I ordered was scrumptious and featured very fresh, not overcooked vegetables. Both the asparagus bisque and mushroom bisque were exceptional. Also, we were incredibly impressed with the young men who were so attentive with refilling water as well as removing dishes that were finished being used. The level of service that these young people provided is unheard of nowadays. We plan on being regulars at Curious Goods and thank all the restaurant personnel for providing both a culinary and service experience which are of a very high standard and so rare today. And thank you for your thoughtfulness in terms of vegetarian diners.

Wow! Impressed by everything. We came here on a rainy night and empty stomach. It was obvious alot of thought goes into the menu. We got a nice spread and we’re happy with all of it! The service and atmosphere were also great. Make sure you make reservations and come with a good appetite!

Great menu crafted with lots of local ingredients and very fresh seafood in a quaint, cozy, country setting. Reservations recommended, especially for outdoor seating, parking is easy. Drinks are really great, fresh baked bread and desserts, and dinner really was delicious. We’ll be repeat guests and look forward to seeing the friendly staff again.

Without a GPS, I wouldn’t have found this restaurant. We drove for a while and it seems to be the only one in the area. It’s farm to table. On the pricey side. Mostly locals seems to frequent here. I wish the beets dish was a bit more generous portion as I am used to in NY.
