Really disappointed considering all the good reviews. Ordered our burgers cooked to medium, all 3 are over cooked and dry. Lettuce was a single leaf smaller than the burger Patty. Loaded fries look very unappealing-bacon bits are just dumped on top and the cheese isn’t even totally melted. McDonalds would have been better.

Great lil whole in the wall place!! By the time I remembered to get a pic of Hubby’s burger, well let’s just say it was too late, lol. Highly recommend! Service & atmosphere & food was top notch!! Will definitely have to come back.

Was really looking forward to going here for some time and was in the neighborhood. Stopped in with my wife there was 3 other tables with people in them all of which had their food. They took my drink order and that was the last I ever got. Watched 3 more tables come in and get seated and their order taken. I sat there for over 25-30 minutes with no service being ignored while the waitresses just walked past. Don’t think I will ever try to go again. But on the flip side the restaurant itself is homey and had a decent atmosphere.

Our group stopped in for lunch. Asked the waitress about Patty Melts, as they are not on the menu. Most of us ordered it and they are great. The Patty Melts come with caramelized onions and your choice of cheese. I choose Habanero Pepper Cheese. Lightly toasted bread and it was great. Best one I’ve had in a long time. Give it a try. Great service and good food, doesn’t get any better than that.

First time here and I went for their basic burger and was really impressed. Nothing like a good burger, some onion rings and a slice of pie which in this case was some pretty good cheesecake. Next time I’ll try some of the specialty burgers offered. Excellent service by a most outgoing waiter by the name of Gabriel. An overall enjoyable experience. I’ll be back.

Truly the best restaurant I’ve ever been too. There burgers are amazing! They are best burgers I’ve ever had there even tied with homemade burgers! It’s pretty cheap service is great no complaints at all. Amazing. I personally recommend the venison burger with sweet potato fries.

First visit since moving to the area in the spring of 2018. Lots of burger choices but I went with basic hamburger. The sweet potato fries came with a delightfully spiced up chipotle dip. The fried pickles had just the right amount of batter. I don’t typically eat dessert, but had to try the fried oreos and it was worth every calorie! As of 2023, Off the Hoof is still a favorite. My most recent favorite is the Elk burger with bacon and pepper jack cheese. Their fries, sweet potato fries and fried jalapenos always come out hot and crispy. Upon my most current visit, April 2023 they added a new item called the Big Burger. It’s a 2/3 lb burger with the option to double it, as with all their burgers. The big boy beef comes with jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, cheddar cheese, sauteed mushrooms and light BBQ sauce. My husband said it was the best burger he had ever eaten and was cooked to medium perfectly. The spicy onion straws are the ultra thin cut and very tasty!! We are never disappointed. We always go between 5p and 5:20p. Restaurant is usually about 2/3 full and service is always great, fast and food is hot! Great for groups and kids.

The atmosphere is old and homie but the service and the food are outstanding. I had the Elk Burger to begin the week and the Ostrich Burger to end the week and was exceptionally pleased with both. They say the best foods come from the most humble looking places and this spot makes that statement out to be true
