Service was great, 5$ margarita was on the sweet side but great. Pizza bread is very soft, deep dish style. Fries were almost unsalted and a bit floppy. Ranch is excellent. Onion rings were excellent. Tater Kegs were great, they’re a little hot on the inside, like pizza rolls, be careful. The Tarp burger is great except for the chicken, I got basically a nugget, not what I’d call a chicken strip. See in the pictures. Fried pickles were great, burger patty was great, bun was toasted. But a double cheeseburger is probably a much better value than the Tarp. That chicken got way smaller, there was an older review picture with a big ol chunk of chicken on it and that was my expectation. The fries were lackluster. Everything else was good or great.

Was in town visiting some family and decided to have dinner at the Yoke. Loved the interior and friendly service.

Five stars? You bet your boots bud. Located on a mostly deserted, architecturally beautiful old downtown street is a place you don’t find too often here in the Midwest or anywhere for that matter.

The place was pretty full when we arrived, so we did have a bit of a wait for our food, but not unreasonable. The food was hot, tasty, and plentiful, and the waitress was friendly and attentive to our drinks while we waited. This is a great little place! PS I suspect my kid’s tater tots were made from scratch?? I stole a lot of them from his plate! Amazing!

My brother and I visited this establishment this evening. We are from out of town, and were looking for a good local place. We really enjoyed the ambiance, the food, and especially the service. Our waitress was great! Unfortunately I don’t know her name, but she was so personable and friendly that she really made us feel welcome. The food was delicious, and there was so much of it that neither of us could finish. I am looking forward to the leftovers. Great place, and I would definitely recommend it.

We went to The Yoke for the first time this week, and it was SO good! We had the Cobb salad, and it was so fresh and perfect; the chicken was seasoned so perfectly, it almost had an addictive quality about it. We also had the Tater Kegs, and OH MY GOSH… they were so awesome!!! They were so good, we actually ordered them for takeout the next night!

Best food in town, bar none. Service is friendly. One of the few places with wine available and decent beers on tap. Many items made in house, a rarity in small towns these days.

We love The Yoke for casual dining and also for events. We recently had our rehearsal dinner in their meeting room and it was PERFECT. The food was delicious, the staff was efficient, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our wants and needs.

Friendly atmosphere. Beer cold . Try to order pizza or wings and they were out, neglected to tell me first before I tried to order them. Had chicken fried steak. A bit on the tuff side. Mashed potatoes had large lumps in them. Won’t be coming back

A bit on pricey side. Food was salted before served. Too much salt on fries, tots, etc. Could go a little lighter on that. Staff very friendly and accomidating.
