Love this place as it used to be, occasionally still give it a chance. But disappointed, salad bar has old brown lettuce , ordered my meal cause I like the chicken fried steak but she tells me they don’t have bread or a few other things because of catering order. Like really, not recommended as a place to go out to eat, everything has gone down hill sorry to say. So sad

Food was amazing the service was great and the atmosphere was good and everything was nice….until the drinks.. the drinks tasted weird and funky even my cousin and my mom agreed I wouldn’t get drinks from there again but everything else was fine and good.

I got fried mushrooms and Ive only just taken a couple bites but they are fresh and the nice lady working at the front was right about the ranch being amazing too. I tried to tip her but she wouldn’t let me — she was friendly and even though I’ve got really bad social anxiety she put me at ease with her bright smile, I believe her name was Teri B (that’s what my receipt says)

We decided to stop in after a afternoon of Shiner Brewery tour. Great German food! Recommend stopping in as they also had great appetizers and other food options such a chicken fried steaks and ribeyes!

The restaurant was unappealing. We ordered a water but it tasted awful. We ordered the gourmet grilled cheese and the old fashioned grilled cheese. They were ok. The fries were flavorless. I don’t recommend this place. Drive to Halletsville and stop at Jalisco’s instead.

I used to eat here often. Usually “to go”, this past time our order came short of the few things we ordered extra and upon digging in we found this hair (in picture) around 18”+ long. A hair this long in food means zero effort for kitchen cleanliness. We called multiple times to try and resolve and received no answer.

No tables had been bussed, so I picked the cleanest dirty table. Had to get my own silverware and ask multiple times for a coffee refill. Food was ok at best, I’m unimpressed.

I don’t like to complain about service, but last Sunday my kids wanted to go eat breakfast at Werner’s and it has been our worst experience ever. I was hesitant of going as we had not been in a year due to a previous experience. When we arrived at 8:45 it took about 20 minutes for our drinks to come out and our order to be taken. When our food finally came the majority of the hashbrowns were burnt, the sausage was cold, and when we asked for ketchup the waitress (Kim) grabbed a container (they use the to-go cups for ketchup) off of the table behind. That is just plain disgusting. We finally left the restaurant almost 2 hours later (for breakfast).
