Smoke is incredible! I traveled from NY to try some food. We reached on Saturday, but made it too late so we decided to go back on Sunday. I was very excited to try the food, especially upon arrival, I saw Smoke behind the smoker. On Sunday, I reached by 2 and saw that serving would begin at 3. We waited in the truck to be first to get served since the line for food can pick up very quickly. We didn’t want to take the chance of leaving our place on line. To create order and organization, there is a ticket system in place. You must take a ticket and your number will be called to advance. Because ppl started coming in, Smoke personally approached our truck and handed us our ticket for being first on line. He was also courteous to let us know that he would be making a run to superstore and would be back shortly.

I have been passing this place for years and was eager to finally get a chance to try it. Mr. Smoke was extremely down to earth and that made my first experience so much better. Wish I would have gotten there earlier(which next time I will!) because when I got there he only had one small brisket sandwich for me to get (which I am so grateful he gave me for free!!) Overall I had a great deal and a lot of food for the price I paid as I got the whole rack of rib combo with two sides and cornbread as well. Wow… the cornbread is probably the best I have ever had as it was so moist and sticky. And the ribs were delicious and smoky and falling off the bone with each bite. My only downfall about it was that I feel as though it was too much sauce for my liking and it was too sweet (even though I got spicy) it wasn’t spicy at all to me I guess because my spice level is so high, and I am not used to eating so much sugar so it seemed a little too sweet, but hey it’s BBQ and that’s what I did expect. Next time I will for sure order the spicy bbq on the side so I can add what I like. Overall I loved it and will be back for more… earlier in the day of course!!! Thanks again for a great experience Mr. Smoke!!!

I ate here, he gives you alot of meat on your sandwich. I got a chicken sandwich. I would give 6 out of 10. Mainly because the amount of meat. My wife got s Brisket sandwich, she gave it a 4 out of 10. That could be because we’re from Texas. My issue was the customer service. He gave me a smart a$$ answer when I was confirming he was closed for a while. I then came back because we didn’t feel like finding something else to eat. His demeanor was like he didn’t want to be there. I understand we all have bad days. He smart remark to me confirming if he was closed could’ve easily been another answer. He had his music blasting so loud he didn’t even hear the next customer talking to him. Poor customer service in my experience

Go early! At the end of the day, we didn’t get all of our first-choice dishes, but we still had an incredible meal. The brisket made me close my eyes and say “mmmmmm.” Spicy ribs fell off the bone in the best way. The baked beans are like nothing I’ve had anywhere else. And the sweet chunky applesauce to finish it off? Perfect. More than worth the wait in line.

The food just melted in your mouth, that’s how soft the meat was. This was the first time I tried a frisket Sandwich and it was Delicious!!! Scott does a great job of cooking the meat.

Based purely on the visual, Smoke’s Smoke Shack may be more appropriate. In the middle of Route 40 near People’s Plaza. Smoke’s is a one man show. You will get attention to detail and not speed. I got the beef brisket sandwich. I figured it is in the extended Cheesesteak family. $10. Choice of sweet or hot sauce. I went sweet. Fairly tasty. Good amount of meat. My favorite things about Smoke’s are; steady flow of regular customers, owner working his tail off trying to make everyone happy, $1 soda, wet nap and two candies with your sandwich.
