I came here for the first time a couple days ago. The restaurant is decorated really nice. We got chips with salsa and a green creamy sauce to start. The salsa was very bland and disappointing to be honest. We asked if they had a spicier salsa that they could bring and they did. It was a million times better. It lacked flavor a little bit but the spice level was terrific. I ordered the tamale’s and they were pretty good. The sauce on top was a little underwhelming but everything else was pretty good.

I went on a Monday a few weeks ago around 1pm. Was quickly serviced and seated with a smile. Waitress was attentive and courteous. I have been to Gringos once before. I had the Marisco Bowl w flour Tortillas. This time I got the Limited time Pastor Quesadillas w grilled Pineapple. A side of rice and borracho beans. An XR-Margarita which is bomb! I would return again and recommend to friends!

My wife and I ate here last weekend while we were in town to visit family and for Aggie Federation business. First time eating at Gringo’s and it was a very good experience. Service was very good, food was excellent, our margaritas were excellent, and the place had a fun atmosphere (though it was crazy-loud with the full house in there on a Saturday evening at just after 5 pm). Looking forward to trying it again the next time in town.

We went at lunchtime on a Friday with a party of 7 and had no wait! Our server, Axel, was absolutely fantastic He kept the chips and the drinks full, and he was personable and helpful and knew the menu well. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and everything tasted great. We were brave enough to take 5 kids here, and we had zero complaints about anything from any of them. That’s nothing short of a miracle! My drink, an XR Margarita, was superb. My favorite thing here, however, was the green dip that came with the chips and salsa. That stuff was soooo good! We’ll definitely be visiting this place again and again.

Food is great! I don’t care for the thick tortilla chips they serve but I love the choice of different sauces. I had the Border sampler. Loved it! This may be my new go to platter. Don’t forget to get your free ice-cream cone on the way out.

We finally had the chance to try Gringo’s and were very pleased. Will definitely be going back from time to time. We enjoyed the queso as we waited for our meals. I had the “Three Amigos and Pepe” (I think that was its name). It had four different enchiladas; beef, steak, chicken, and cheese. All were good. I marked it down a little because we would have liked a little more attention from the wait staff and it had the feel of a chain restaurant, which it is. These are minor. As noted, we will go back soon!

First timr ever at this restaurant chain. I dined in with a group of 3 friends on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated immediately, and the atmosphere was nice. I ordered 1 drink and the Rodriguez plate. I have to say the drink was most enjoyable. The food was mediocre in my opinion My black beans were basically cold compared to my hot plate. My food was

Delicious! So grateful for the courteous staff and great customer service. The frozen house margarita was delicious as well as the chips and salsa as well as the queso appetizer. My “Pollo con Queso” meal was delicious and my husband really liked his “Presidente” meal. It was nice seeing the staff use flashlights in the evening as they were cleaning to catch any dirty spots as they were wiping down the benches and tables. So happy with our overall experience here.

Had a great dining experience at College Station location. They were extremely busy and quite a wait time, but so worth the wait. The food was delicious & the wait staff maintained positive, friendly attitude even though they appeared overwhelmed. Definitely a do over. Wish they were closer to Austin area, but even that is not a deterrent. We will spend another Sunday drive the 180 miles round trip to visit again.
