The Blue Coyote Café at Talking Sticks Casino is a nice dining experience. We were sat quickly and had a nice outside table. The server was quick to come over with water and ask if we were having drinks. Drink menu in hand, she handed it over and let us decide. Since this is my first time in here and in AZ, I wanted to try some local beer. With the suggestion of our server, we ordered a Kilt Lifter Scottish Ale. At that time, we also ordered lunch.

We were there Saturday for dinner and the chef really outdid themselves! What the heck! The cheese quesadilla appetizer was surreal. I’ve seriously never tasted anything better in my life! I was shocked at how good it was. The hostess recommended the Mongolian beef and it was pretty good. My husband’s burger was great too but the quesadilla was out of this world!!!!!

The food was great but the timing of the food was odd. We had a big group and we all ordered at the same time. The 3 people that ordered sushi and all the Asian food, their food came out fast and they were waiting for us since they didn’t want to eat without us. After a while, we told them to eat since their food was getting cold. The rest of us got our food 30 minutes later. Half of our group was done eating. We were hungry and order appetizers thinking that will come out faster but it came out the same time as the meal. We didn’t mind the speed of the food too bad. All of the meals were delicious. Wish that every one ate the same time.

Very disappointed, we waited for over 20 minutes for our server to ask us what we wanted to drink. I ordered citrus chicken and my friend ordered the ribeye steak medium rare. My citrus chicken was dry with no flavor, McDonald chicken nuggets have more flavor, my fried rice tasted like brown rice and may have very well have been that even though I ordered fried rice. The steak was chewy and flavorless and the asparagus was old.

My experience here was completely disappointing. Our server was friendly however the wait for food to come out was ridiculous. Once my sushi roll arrived and I was even more disappointed once I took the first bite. I will not eat here ever again.
