I’ve been coming here for years and it never fails to hit the spot. The fresh, high quality, locally sourced, ingredients make all the difference and you can taste it. The pies out of the handmade pizza oven are top of the line when it comes to that classic Neapolitan style. The crust is soft and fluffy with even leoparding throughout. I always get the Margherita and the only way it could possibly be better is if they used buffalo mozzarella instead of the more common cow variety. This time around I tried the “New York” pizza which uses fontinella and fontina. I will admit this particular pie was relatively bland compared to the Margherita. I won’t be getting that one again but it was worth a shot. As for the other items on the menu the chili-kissed garlic knots are sublime and the wings are ethereal. Sometimes we come and only order two plates of wings and no pizza. They’re that good. These guys are free range, antibiotic free, and local from Buttonwood Farms. They’re brined in house and fried to order in beef tallow which provides a level of depth and umami that you won’t find in an average wing – 9.4/10 clucks. My favorite sauce is the pineapple habanero that I enjoy on the side as to allow for an unadulterated, sauceless, bite when I please. Overall I couldn’t recommend Pizzeoli enough. Every friend I’ve brought here over the years has enjoyed it as much as I have.

After hearing about Pizzeoli for years, I finally made it in and I’m completely obsessed! The food is all incredible with something on the menu for every dietary need. The restaurant is perfect for a laidback night out! Street Parking. Reservations recommended!

The pizza they serve is hands down the best in town – the flavors are rich, the crust is perfectly crispy, and the toppings are fresh and delicious. But what truly sets Pizzeoli apart is the incredible atmosphere they’ve created. The cozy and welcoming ambiance makes you feel right at home, and the friendly staff adds to the overall wonderful experience. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, Pizzeoli is a pizza paradise you must visit. I can’t wait to go back for more of their amazing pizza and fantastic atmosphere!

More creative than I’ve had in the U.S. The only issue is they dreamed up too many great pizza combos to choose from since I don’t live in StL. My daughter and I have been visiting new places that have gluten free options and this was our first stop in our Celiac in St. Louis Tour! The atmosphere was cozy and romantic with candles on the table and soft music playing. It would be a lovely place to have a date. We ordered the gf Margherita wood fired pizza and at the very first bite, we were hooked. The sauce was absolutely delicious, and the whole pizza was an experience. It was like a warm cup of perfect tomato soup with the best grilled cheese sandwich I’ve ever had. We also ordered some wings, which are all gluten free and have a dedicated fryer. When they brought these pineapple habanero wings to our table and sat them in front of us, they smelled like doughnuts. We love wings, it’s the first thing we try somewhere, so we’ve come to be somewhat of wing experts, but these were undoubtedly the most delicious wings we’ve ever eaten. They were spicy, but not too much, sweet, delicate, tender, absolutely perfect wings. Their food was astonishingly amazing and everyone there was polite and welcoming. As we were leaving, the guy next to the wood fire oven asked how our food was, and we just raved about it and how we couldn’t wait to come back. It’s the kind of place you want to keep a secret, so you can always get a table, but they deserve more than that, and everyone should get to experience the wonders of Pizzeoli.

The waitress/hostess were nice and the pizza was okay but I ordered the Bourbon Butter BBQ wings and the next day it was moldy. I’ve never had chicken wings get moldy before so I almost convinced myself it was a part of the green onion garnish or that some of the meat was showing through the sauce. I put them in the fridge less than 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant (I live in Soulard) so it makes me seriously question the quality of food they serve for it to be moldy in one day. I reached out to ask for a refund, which they were willing to do at first but then turned around and blamed me instead. I’d say it’s a hard pass on this place for serving sub-quality food that grows mold in one day and blaming customers for it.

Had the BEST gluten free wings I’ve ever had in my life. Incredible texture and flavor! The pizza was also really good, although the crust was thin for my liking. Also had a spiked hot cider that was incredible! Highly recommend. I have Celiac and did not get sick from this place.
