They gave us a private room. Very nice people. Food came out super fast. Sushi was on point. Service was fast and super friendly. We stopped here on our way to boston. Prices are definitely not cheap here. They hit you hard on soft drinks. We would probably go again. Fish was super fresh.

The experience was fun, it was quiet. Just us and another couple in the room. Food was OK. He had sushi which wasn’t very good but everything else was OK.

We came for the first time on a Saturday night. The place is summed up in one word: average. The decor, the food, the service.

My first experience here was honestly disappointing. I bought the Tonkotsu ramen noodle soup. It was the only thing I got, and my total was $19.48. Seriously? $20 for soup. Here’s the best part, the hard boiled egg that comes with the soup was sour. Ended up tossing it so I don’t spend a night on the toilet. I’d be cautious about coming here, price wise it’s ridiculous. The ramen itself tastes pretty good, the pork was on point and the fish cakes were good. There just needs to be some damage control in that kitchen.

I love trying new places and this time one of my friends invited me for dinner because of my birthday the place is nice good atmosphere and the food tasted good.

Hard to leave this review as the staff was excellent. Friendly and attentive. The cheesy sign above the entrance should have tipped me off. Low end cafeteria style tables with a few Japanese “artifacts” sprinkled in left the dining room left it cold and sterile. The food was as bland and mediocre (at best) as we have ever had. The miso soup had an odd taste. A small, low grade piece of rubbery steak glazed (not marinated) was the teriyaki, and my wife’s 3 choices for sushi were left 2/3 uneaten. The rice and garlic broccoli sides were excellent, and the service was perfect, saving this from a worse rating. I urge the owners to visit Tomo in Salem NH. Similar prices but a world apart in food and decor.

My husband enjoys the sushi-sashimi combo here, but I’m not a fish fan, so normally I’ll order chicken teriyaki. With each visit the chicken tastes worse and most recently the platter, which used to have onions and veggies, came with barely any. Sad.

This is the hibachi part of the restaurant as we didn’t try the other menu. Mediocre, boring, and lame. The place is outdated and not in pace for the prices. The chef pulled off 3 very tired stunts from a filthy serving cart. We had a packed table ready to participate and were letdown. The staff were zombies walking around. Zero personality. The steamed rice was decent. Very disappointing.

Food was good but service was pretty behind on a Friday night. Make sure you get a reservation on the weekends. The fact that you can’t get hibachi without sitting in the hibachi room seems weirdly arbitrary. Good sushi, though. I get the tradition of removing your shoes, but just having everyone’s shoes sitting around everywhere when you enter is strange.
