We come here every year from out of town. We are a touring boating group. The food is good and nice variety on the menu. Today our service was very good, however the wait time to be seated when they had so many open tables was disappointing. They must have been short staffed to bus the tables. The elderly server was very abrupt and unfriendly. So glad she was not our server. (She was rude last year as well) We return because they offer gas on the water for boaters and food in one stop. Once seated, our server was great. I tried to explain we needed to move things along in order to cover many more miles of water traveling. Had to wait 30 minutes to be seated when there were 7 open tables….that’s unacceptable customer service.

Atmosphere is great…too bad service is terrible. We were told 20 minute wait for patio seating…after 45 minutes & seeing plenty of tables open, we were never seated. After calling attention to this, we were seated, put in our order to find out menu old and they didn’t offer what we wanted…we walked out. Will not go back.

A little wait on a Saturday night as to be expected but everything else was fabulous. The crabmeat spinach artichoke dip with bow tie was amazing. Large portion of catfish on the small platter. And those white beans….Amazing!!

Although the food and service is great, We didn’t go to eat, we went to launch the boat to go tubing. This is one of the last launches to get to the lake and blind river. It’s never crowded here because it’s a steep ramp and boat police are ALWAYS there. I was slightly disappointed this time though because the dock was missing a few boards and a section was closed. Watch your step.
