This place is legit. The lady here is phenomenal and brings home cooked food in every dish. They are all awesome people. Thank y’all for staying consistent all these years!

Pretty good TIENDA. They have the meats and the cheeses and the pan. Pretty nice.

Legitimately disgusting inside and they do not care one bit. A friend warned me he had food poisoning from the meat here, and I’ll take him at his word.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE. They have the worst food in town. I ordered a seafood soup and that thing didn’t taste like seafood, it tasted more like water. My girlfriend ordered some gorditas and hurt her stomach.

The best food ever! I would eat here everyday if I could… You would think papusas are very simple to make and I have had papusas from many different restaurants but the papusa from here have to be the best I have tasted (they have some secret recipe surely)

I ordered a chicken tamale that was so soggy that the banana leaf wrapped around it sunk beneath the tamale. It was completely unrecognizable and unpalatable. I also ordered two beef empanadas and received two chicken empanadas – both of them had a piece of rib bone in it. Also, the outside was burnt on one side. Also, when I went inside to pick up my order, I received a chilly reception. No “hi” or “thank you”. I always try to support local businesses instead of the chain restaurants but I will not be returning to Gloria Luz.

This place has the best, most authentic tacos in the Northern Virginia / Washington, DC area. It is Salvadorian, but they serve authentic Mexican food as well.

We just ordered multiple items. It was super affordable and some of the best food we’ve had in a long time! We will be ordering once a week, at least!
