We’ve been to Pikes several times, and each visit we’ve been delighted with the food and service! It’s a friendly, warm environment. The fish is cooked perfectly; we’ve tried most of the seafood entrees on the menu. We especially like the salmon, trout and scallops. We saw an ad for 1/2 price oysters on Wednesdays, and we tried all the varieties available. Delicious and a great deal!

We got a coupon in the mail for a free appetizer. I’m so glad we did. Emilie or server was super nice and the spinach artichoke app was great. Beer selection is decent; wine selection is good. ..and the food tasted great. We had the scallops and crab cakes. Or son had the burger, which was huge and tasty. Oh, the little rolls before dinner are amazing. Can’t wait to go back

Management, food and service was incredible. Mussels were cooked perfectly and we’re already trying to come up with an excuse to go back and order the pecan crusted trout again. food was obviously very freah. Generous portions. only complaints were that they were slightly heavy on the salt and the pear crisp wasn’t great (lots of nutmeg). But really a great experience.

An excellent one-off restaurant. Our server Abby was delightful and knowledgeable and all of the servers were attentive. Clearly a well managed restaurant. All of our meals were amazing but the Shrimp and Grits was beyond amazing. Stop in, you’ll be glad you did.

This place is our favorite out of all the local restaurants here. The staff is really nice and we’ve chatted with the owner and manager multiple times. The food is always delicious! We try to order something new every time we go and have never been disappointed. If you’re looking for a laid-back place to go for brunch or dinner this is your spot!

Service was perfectly prompt and attentive, while giving us space. Trout cooked well, and grouper fingers rivaled any we’ve ordered on the Florida Gulf Coast. Sides of Brussel Sprouts and green beans reminded me of home cooked meals growing up in farm country.

Saturday afternoon…start by saying the manager did comp two of our plates due to the kid salmon being WAY over cooked and po boy being sad. It had four shrimp and about halt a tespoon of sauce. Certainly not what one would think for po boy but fine for a fried shrimp sandwich. The atmosphere was nice and wait staff was OK, though serving the salmon the way it looked was certainly room for improvement. People seem to like this place so it might have either been an off day or just not to my tastes so take the two stars as with any review as a one time thing. Not sure will give it another try soon with so many other places around but maybe dinner is better. I would rather pay for good food than have comped bad food.

I’ve been to Pikes on several occasions. The seafood is subpar and didn’t taste fresh. On my husband’s most recent visit, Pike’s served him 4 bottles of beer, a glass of wine, and two crowns. Then had him arrested for drunken intoxication in public. In the state of Virginia it’s illegal to over serve someone who is clearly intoxicated. What makes it worse is my husband was on a new medicine that heightened his buzz. Watch out and don’t drink to much!
