Y’all, if you have not eaten here you are missing out big time. Great service, great food and the atmosphere is that of an old train station. Set in the pecos River village with views of the pecos River outside the window. Prices are very decent for the amount and quality of food you get. One of my new favorite places for sure. Come check them out!

We were in Carlsbad for a few months and had not found many good restaurants while in CBad. PJ & B’s turned out to be very good. The meals were reasonably priced, the staff was very nice and helpful. And our meals were delicious. My wife had the Steak Finger basket and I had the BBQ combo with brisket. We always share our meals together and we both liked the meals very much.

I’m usually pretty tight with a 5 star review but can’t find a bad thing to say about this place. Food has always been good, service is always good, friendly people. Fair prices, looking at about 9-12 bucks per meal plus drink but you’re going to spend that almost anywhere. The only problem is I forget about this place because it’s across the river off my typical path

So happy that they are open early. I’m on a national tour for my packing YouTube channel “Beyond the Pavement” and stop here early in the morning to grab some delicious French toast. Looks like they did a lot of catering as well. Food so good

Strange location but found it after a few drives around the parking lots. Potatoes were too soft , no taste and the pancakes come with boxed syrup that wasn’t good and they were very big , maybe should of put it on a separate plate. also lots of flies in the dining room. Staff was nice though

Excellent BBQ shredded brisket and pulled pork– had in a generous burrito. Very tender meat without being super fatty, perfect smoke. BBQ sauce is very good too. Over easy eggs and French toast were perfectly cooked. Great breakfast joint with a river view.

The food was awesome I got the huavos ranchos Christmas style. The red chili was phenomenal. The red chili with a fried egg is always one of those comfort foods for me this brought back memories. The green chili was also solid and wonderful. Breakfast burritos were delicious and good sized. Beautiful location and the owners are awesome. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast and a new favorite carpsbad restaurant.
