Our server Amy was excellent, informative, and attentive without being intruding. After being disappointed with our old local sushi haunts in their changes to prices, quality, and portions we decided to try something new. I’m so glad we tried out Izmi and this will definitely be our new regular and the quality of service and the quality of the meal were excellent; my new #1 for sushi in Santa Fe

Delicious food, great prices, and great service! Always love to find a great sushi place that keeps things fairly traditional. Would come back again

I have eaten here often and love the food and service. However, the last time I was there, the dining room was very worn and I sat in the booth next to the window where apparently the area under the window had not been cleaned in a long time. It was full of dead bugs. Time for an interior refresh.

Small and quaint space. Not many options for large groups. Our family of 7 fit in the one large booth they have. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the garlic edamame, various rolls, miso soup, yakisoba, and green tea ice cream greatly! Although they were short-staffed, the staff worked hard to take care of a full house. Well done, wait staff and cooks!

Motto- more fish, less rice! Food was very good. Restaurant is close to the Plaza where space is at a premium. Tables are very close together. Can be calastphobic

Very fresh ingredients, tad bit on the pricey end, slow service (lack of staff unfortunately), miso soup costs $3 as is white rice being the cheapest while the Taos roll (baked lobster) was $18, but was very hospitable and friendly and not too busy.

Izmi is a totally solid and delicious sushi choice in the middle of Santa Fe. I had the Green Chili roll (yummy!) with seaweed salad. (generous portion!) My husband had the sushi combo, which was also good. The service was efficient and great, despite a sign saying they are short staffed right now. The restroom was a little dark, but clean and well stocked with essentials.

We came in for a late dinner while in Santa Fe with my whole family. Service was kind and helpful. We got the okonomiyaki appetizer and it was phenomenal! We ate it so fast I almost forgot a photo! The chicken katsu was a little dry but it leans that way as a dish. Teriyaki chicken and sushi rolls were phenomenal! We wrapped up dinner with some mochi and everyone went home full and happy!

When I visited Santa Fe for business, I was excited to try out some new food there. But, since I am not really a big fan of Mexican-type food, I instead decided to try out some Japanese food. I know, going to Asian restaurant while in Santa Fe… I might be unusual, but at I know what I like. So, I wanted go to a restaurant that was Japanese owned and operated (which DOES exist in Santa Fe!), but it was closed on this day. Instead, I went to this place, Izmi, not owned/operated by Japanese, but came with high reviews.
