The food here is wonderful no matter what time of day that you come. They have daily specials that are outstanding. I stayed here for the weekend on business and ate all of my meals here. The staff is very friendly and helpful when I didn’t recognize some of the specials.

This restaurant is a casual but nice restaurant inside of the Holiday Inn hotel. We ordered the street corn shrimp, the bang bang shrimp, wings, and a variety of other items that were on the menu and then of course, dessert (we got the apple crisp with extra scoops of vanilla ice cream… to die for). Everything that we ordered was DELICIOUS! What’s nice is that the pictures of the food that you see online actually taste as good as they look. Our waitress was also really friendly and accommodating and kept our drinks filled, which we appreciated!

I have eaten here a couple of times before this experience and the food is good. However, 7/30/23, our service was so poor, I will most likely not return. We got to the restaurant at 1100 and were seated promptly. Our waitress took our drink orders and upon return took our food order. We never saw her again! It got to be about 11:45 and one of my friends asked the other waitress/hostess about our order (we could see it in the serving window). She said she didn’t know and ignored us. Fifteen minutes later we still had not received our food nor had our waitress came back to check on us. We left money on the table for our drinks and walked out. They were not busy at all. The hostess/waitress just laughed at us as we left. The whole experience was bad and I expected more from this establishment.

We enjoyed our dinner at TK Grille which is located in the Holiday Inn. It is very nice in there and the atmosphere was pleasant. We had a brand new waitress who did a good job. The restaurant is located about a mile from the Effingham Performance Center which was very convenient.

The reviews don’t lie! Our food was excellent and the service was just as great! I had the fish and chips … the homemade chips made the meal (and ask for the spicy ranch on the side … recommended by our server ) I also swapped out the coleslaw for the kettle fried Brussel sprouts, don’t ask, just order it!! They were perfection. And by recommendation from another review, we did get the apple crisp for dessert! So glad we tried it!!
