This is a great little small town cafe. I was visiting NJ for the first time to go to Great Adventure, and stopped off here for breakfast. The omelet and pancakes were both very good. Friendly staff, prompt service, good food. Highly recommend.

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to eat a meal in all 564 towns in NJ. We chose Woody’s Towne Cafe to eat in Allentown, NJ, our 96th town. Great small town atmosphere in the cafe with lots of historic pictures of the town on the walls. Service was great. Service was good. Enjoyed a pair of omlettes and french toast.

An old diner, probably been here forever. Super friendly waitress greets you with a genuine smile. Lots of old-time regulars scattered about. Chill 70s music playing in the background. A bit pricey but so worth it. Food is excellent and huge – all basic stuff. Biggest pile of bacon I’ve ever gotten at a diner. Thick, rye toast with real butter. I feel like I need to go on a long walk now …to my cardiologist.

Went here for breakfast. Walked in and everyone was friendly, we were able to pick where we wanted to sit. The service was fast and friendly. We had coffee, chocolate chip pancakes, Greek omelet, and corn beef hash. Food was good.

Nasty old white man harrassing my girlfriend and I because he wanted to move his car across the street. We tried to ignore him, but he followed us in Woody’s, saying we don’t speak English. So we’re in Woody’s waiting for a table when he comes in behind wanting an explanation why we parked our car across the street. Him standing between us and the exit door, I felt trapped and had to scream at the man. I don’t care what his problem is. We can park where we did. He called me stupid, went outside the front door, sat down, and ate his breakfast. The waitress recognized the escalating situation and promptly sat us down far away from the nasty man. We left her a big tip because she deserved it. Every other staff member could care less supporvisor sitting at counter with his laptop just ignored the situation. This place is unorganized. Horrible experience I would not recommend if you are black or brown.

My husband found out about this place on a travel site, and ordered breakfast this morning, it was great. It was delivered quickly and the food was hot, we had bacon and egg sandwiches and french toast and pancakes, I look forward to visiting in person and will recommend to friends.
