Went here for my birthday, was very impressed all around. Service was great, many of the staff acknowledged my birthday. The food was amazing, especially the rib eye! Had the raspberry lemon drop, so delicious- pretty strong for someone who doesn’t drink very much but very good. Will definitely be back!

The service was very good, our server knowledgable about the specials, menu and the meal came out within an ideal time frame. The food was great (pricey), surprisingly the highlight of my experience was the orange zest & mint butter served with the bread that evening. The atmosphere is relaxed and the setting is unique (I believe it was once a church building). Check out the stained glass windows.

I picked this place to go to with friends because I enjoy the food and atmosphere. I had shrimp and scallops and hubby had Friday fish. Food was good. We went to pay and had a $25 gift card with no expiration date we purchased online several years ago. Manager came over to table and told us we could not use because a) it was too old? 2) that the site we purchase on should have put an expiration date on it even though there was none. She then asked if we found the gift certificate in the back of an old drawer.

Amazing food and great ambiance in a building that used to be a church. Hands down, the best steakhouse in La Crosse – maybe the region (we had prime rib and ribeye, medium – both grilled to perfection), with a top notch staff. Don’t forget dessert. Our server, Amy, was absolutely wonderful. We’ll be back.

The restaurant is quite unassuming from the outside, but the inside looks very nice. For the appetizer we had a special crab cake made with shrimp which was great. My wife had the shrimp and scallops pasta dish which was also delicious. Lastly, I had the BBQ ribs which were done perfectly. They were falling off the bone and had the right amount of sauce with them. As a part of the ribs there were sides of sweet potato fries and apple kimchi. Overall the food was excellent. Our server, Barry, was also super friendly and did an excellent job. We will be back.

Wow! I have had Pogreba on my ‘want to go’ list for a while and it was so worth the wait! We had a dinner reservation for a party of 8 for a friend reunion. I had the Shrimp and Scallops with squid ink linguine (SO COOL and savory). My husband had the Filet Mignon. The ‘char-crust’ was to die for, and the bites were so tender and flavorful.

My fiancé and I went here for NYE. We both ordered the special. The lobster was so good, there was no need for butter. I have not had lobster like that in my life—even in Maine! Veggies and Filet were great too. But I’m always looking for great seafood in the area! They make amazing cocktails as well!

I ordered a $41 steak, it was cold when it arrived, steak was not tender and a lot of drizzle on it. The veggies were cold. This was the first time I had been there and it will be the last time. I know it was not the the waitress fault, but she only semi friendly, and didn’t really have time for our table.
