This is the worst place to go for drinks and a good time. Karaoke night was a joke. Bartender’s are horrible. Food isn’t any better. Double charged are party, can’t understand how to split a check. Don’t waste your time!

Food is always good but the French onion soup deserves 10 ⭐️!! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the waitresses do not get in a hurry to smile, seat, serve or even acknowledge a person standing there.

Visiting for the weekend and tried Cracker Barrel, because it was close to our hotel. The line went out the door, so we looked for someplace else. We’re so glad we did! A little unsure about breakfast in a bar, but the food! The food was great. Starting with the coffee: regular old coffee, just the way you like it. Eggs cooked exactly to order, biscuits and gravy just right, potatoes perfect, and goetta. Never tried goetta before, it’s like a scrapple with steel cut oatmeal in it, and without the hot black pepper. So very good. (We brought some home from a store, too.) I’ve been in my share of bar bathrooms, and expected no better here, but this was shiny clean, well stocked and well lit. Next time we head up to the Cincinnati area, we’ll be sure to get breakfast at Stringtown.

This is an older mom-and-pop place that’s been in the heart of old Florence for years. It used to be a lot larger, but now only had about 8 tables plus the bar area. Got the fish sandwich at the recommendation of a friend, and it was definitely not the best sandwich. I’m not even sure it was cooked all the way through. The girl who waited on us appeared to be the only one working both the dining room and the bar. She was nice and friendly, but very busy. I’ve heard their breakfast is good. Not sure I would return for lunch.

Don’t get a mixed drink here. You’ll get no alcohol if you do. Ordered a cranberry with vodka and received a tall glass of cranberry juice. What a joke!
