The Blackbird Sandwich….I can’t even describe how good it was! Nice and crispy outer crust on the bread and plenty of meat and cheese! The cranberry compote adds a good sweetness level and the garlic aioli was soooo good! And these pickles…I’m not sure if they are made in house or not but regardless they were crisp and crunchy and everything a good dill pickle slice should be! Will definitely be coming back when I’m in L/A area!

Cool little spot to check out. Was surprised they didn’t make their own drinks. But we enjoyed the beers and a quick lunch, the food was good.

This place is awesome! First place I’ve been to like this where the theme is silent films and that sort of era for decor. I bought a sharable Breadsticks and a sandwich with pear and hot mustard (which wasn’t really that hot at all…which was nice). It was to great! Keep it mind, the lighting is low to set the mood.

The food here was surprisingly amazing. The Blueberry Lemon Poppy waffle was the best waffle I’ve ever had. Others in my party also enjoyed their food. Service at the counter was very friendly and I really liked the vintage movie theme decor.

Amazing food and incredible atmosphere. Especially love the vegan options. When we called to inquire about a food allergy, the employee was super helpful, even reading the ingredient labels.

I’m posting to provide feedback regarding my specific meal. This venue is super cool, and the staff are pleasant. My issue is with the pear walnut salad. For $12, I expected a portion a little bit larger. The spinach was fresh, but my salad had 5 walnuts (NOT candied, as they should be), two teeny pieces of pear, and the $4 chicken I paid for consisted of three THINLY sliced pieces about 1” long and 1/2” wide. The cheddar was sufficient. I was so looking forward to the combined flavors. Super bummed. My fault for not complaining at the time, but I had friends with me and the ambiance was good. I will be back, but do not intend on ordering this again.

I’d been to Obscura over lunch breaks in the past and quickly established a usual, the Roastie (with the house garlic and herb aioli…I’m not one for horseradish). The Roastie is a flavor packed blend of roast beef and aged cheddar with pickles on the side that just makes for the perfect sandwich and lunchtime meal. Well today, I was feeling a little adventurous and tried the Buffalo Lew Flatbread. Let me tell you it was…TO DIE FOR! This buffalo chicken with ranch drizzle flatbread was enough for me to log into my Gmail account, go through resetting my password (I never can remember it), and leave a review. I wish I had taken a picture of this MASTERPIECE before, but alas I only had one slice left after the Google login fiasco. With all of that being said…YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS FLATBREAD!

I’ve been here twice now only during lunch hours so I can not review for any other time frame. Always a long wait, ridiculously long. 30+ minutes for two people and nearly noone else seated.. Have not tried drinks. The environment is interesting to say the least. Definitely a talking piece for customers. You have to order your own food and clean your own table so the requested tip at ordering seems like Americas typical tip happy society. I will tip for full service not quarter service and that’s how it should be especially with slightly inflated prices. Food was decent. The Flatbread are alright but more than less a skimpy bar food pizza. The paninis seem to be some of the best around. I think the place has a lot of potential for evening drinking hours. This is by no means a negative review, just an honest review of what I have experienced during lunch hours. I imagine the evening hours are full of excitement.

I got the Piccadilly sandwich, and I have absolutely no complaints. It was delicious and I would came back just for this sandwich. I’ve been to a few restaurants on their first week, but this was one of my favorite experiences. The service was fantastic and the vibe of the whole place was totally on point. 10/10 would recommend

SO much fun. Tasty drinks, wonderful customer service, beautiful art. I love the aesthetic. Went tonight and it happened to be karaoke night and it was awesome. My new regular spot to enjoy a drink and relax. Will definitely be back! Thank you, Obscura!
