La Mera Mera left me with a mixed impression. While the experience was not extraordinary, it wasnt horrible either. The food, while okay, didn’t really stand out in a city with a plethora of Mexican restaurants. The flavors were decent, but lacking that wow factor. The service, too, was simply okay – not notably friendly or attentive, but not outright neglectful either.

Wow, best authentic homemade tacos ever! The tortillas are one layer and handmade, lower carb wise? The proteins, especially the shrimp was amazing with the sauce for it. Tortilla chips and homemade salsa was equally amazing. Salsa is perfect with a little heat and slightly fruity. Chef’s kiss!

Uhhhhh YUMMMM really like that they had leaf icons for all the vegetarian items on the menu. Got the beyond meat, Chile poblano taco and rajas gordita no complaints here. We got the piña colada and La cachata which were both delicious. To end churros with ice cream. I’m stuffed with yummy foods. Definitely recommend.
