4.5 I ordered via FoodHub pickup , I originally ordered Whole Fish with vegetables and it gave me an option of fufu but the restaurant called and clarified that I couldn’t order that for the listed price so fyi clarify your orders if using FoodHub . I also ordered a side of Jollof rice . So minus the fufu ( I didn’t buy it this time ), the food was good although my Ghanaian friend’s Jollof rice is nicer . So this is a good spot , they have good space with good music for a nice dine-in experience.

As a vegetarian and Nigerian, it’s hard to find vegetarian options at African restaurants. I was so happy to find multiple vegetarian options in this restaurant. Thank you for a delicious meal and great conversations. Highly recommend!

There is only one star for my review because the rice and cabbage was good. But the jerk chicken was the OLDEST chicken i ever had in my life. It was old chicken covered in spices it really was disappointing because I spent 24 dollars . Not to mention I only got 2 pieces of cut chicken and a plate full of rice. Definitely not close to worth it.

Waited over two hours spent over $65 for food with no flavor, very hard meat and no service. I even had to deescalate an argument between 2 customers that waited longer than me with the cook. What they don’t care to see is native Africans are given the to go order at the table while the to go orders are continually pushed back and they get there money up front no organization no structure and no care because the patrons are trying to have discernment and patience but it’s exploitation. This is not authentic African food.

Honestly the best Egusi & Fufu that I’ve ever had. The fufu is so light and fluffy and the Egusi has so much flavor and spicy. I got the chicken Egusi and it was juicy, flavorful, and just BOMB AF.

The outside of the establishment is in much need of a makeover but the food was perfect. I got the whole fish with vegetables and I finished every last morsel. Note that service will likely be slow but it’s worth it.
