Our name Rusty Taco comes from our founder Rusty Fenton, who was passionate about food and had a dream to open a neighborhood taco stand. That dream came true when our first restaurant opened in in in 2010 in Dallas, TX.

Ive been enjoying this place for years! Rusty Taco is a great value for delicious tacos! I also love their chips and queso. The staff is super friendly and the environment is fun and relaxed. They also do a great job with catering and large orders. This is my go to spot when I order meals for work.

Margaritas and drinks start at 10am outside and inside dining. Kids menus and catering available. Fast service and food was definitely amazing. Had high hopes after seeing the reviews, but it was just ok. We arrived by 4:30 to avoid any rush, but it was clear that they do a tremendous amount of take-out and appeared to be short handed. However, the 2 young ladies who were working were busting their moves to help the take-out and dine in employees. The tables needed to be cleaned, but they were too busy with the take out orders, and I don’t fault them. As for the food, I got 2 tacos, an egg and cheese on flour tortilla (I know wierd), but it was actually pretty good, and I also got the picadiilo taco which was supposed to be spicy ground beef and potatoes, onion and cilantro. The meat was not spicy, found one potato, and almost no cilantro, so it was lacking. My husband got 3 tacos, not worth mentioning, except for the fried chicken taco, and it was very good! We also tried the appetizer sampler – chips, guacamole, salsa and queso. All just meh. I love support local businesses, but it just didn’t impress me, except for the girls who were working!!

Rusty Taco was delicious, they currently have the Smoked Brisket Birria Tacos for a limited time! They were pretty good but I wished they would’ve had more brisket in them. We also ordered two Rusty Tacos, salsa & chips, tater tots and a churro-which were fantastic!! I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu.

I was not impressed with the scarcity of vegan options. They were able to make the black bean taco vegan and not add cheese to it and I did like the flavor of it especially with the pumpkin seeds. However, the guacamole is super small and $5 and comes with stale, oily chips unfortunately? So not worth the value. Would like to see some gluten free and vegan options on the menu. Staff was friendly and nice, however.

This corner taco spot is convenient and an excellent place to grab good breakfast tacos before heading into the office. The order-online feature on the website is easy to use. I place my order online before I leave the house, walk in, grab my tacos, and go. As for the breakfast tacos, the salsa flavors are where it’s at; the habanero is tasty. The size is not too small but not too big – medium-sized tacos stuffed to perfection.

I come all the way from Northern Virginia and this was a minute from the condo I’m renting, so I was like why not? Best taco place with cheap prices. Employees were conversational and cheerful, and the service was on point. I gave the Cashier my name for the order and the taco was ready in just under 2 minutes. As if the experience couldn’t get any better, I ordered the fried shrimp taco which was a 10/10. Definitely coming back to this place and would recommend anyone in the University Park area to try this place.
