Great food. I had a Hot Lobster Roll that was recommended by my server. Unfortunately, he had to serve another party, so we had to wait a little while. But when our food finally came out, it was hot. Fresh and so delicious. Then he had to go back and serve the other group. So we only received one serving of drinks because he never came back and checked on us. So you can decide to try?? The food was !!

Unfortunately I didn’t have the best dining experience at Bank’s fish house. I love their sister restaurant Grill 23 and I was expecting BFH to be similar. But it is smaller, more casual, and the service wasn’t the same.

During our visit we were warmly welcomed with our kid and the guy with pleasure accomodate our stroller. The service was nice and quick. The lobster roll was really tasty and what I expected. Also kids menu is good and the portions are not tiny. Definitely will visit this restaurant again.

I really enjoyed my meal at The Banks. The ambiance is great, and the space is beautiful, and the brunch portions are hearty and filling. The cocktails are good too! (Pictured are the Salmon Eggs Benedict and Sangria)

I loved the views from the second floor of this stylish restaurant for sentimental reasons: I worked in this area for ~25 years, met many good friends at the old YWCA, and utilized the old Back Bay Post Office. I really wanted to love this restaurant, but the service from our waitress was poor, and the food was hugely overpriced with small portions. We waited a long time to place an order while a later-seated nearby table received their drinks. Our drinks and starter came out with our entrées, & we waited a long time for a fresh bottle of water.

I definitely enjoyed dining here. Upon entering the restaurant bustling, it appears small, but there is a whole dining area upstairs with an open kitchen. The hostess is stuck in, so if there is a crowd waiting, just go around them.

Went here for dineout boston and the prefix menu I had the smoked seafood ravioli the pasta was fresh and cooked to perfection but the smokey-Ness of the seafood was way to overpowering and the sauce was tasting acidic of sherry wine and tomato.

Good dinner and good food…. Not cheap!!! Cozy environment…. Great fire place for the winter on the first floor. Entrees are expensive … more than the average in Boston. Not sure if it is worth. Good tasty salads …. Great oysters…. And good bar service.
