Pedro’s is my favorite Mexican place in elk city. They don’t charge you for queso (it’s pretty good too) and they have the best tortillas. I really like their fajitas, they definitely give you enough to take home leftovers. Hands down, the best place.

The tortillas are hand made and were amazing. The fajitas were delicious. I found the alacart tacos to be overpriced. Two meat only crunchy tacos were $8. Also the “complimentary cheese “is an acquired taste.

We couldn’t wait to go back since the fire. But was disappointed in the chips 1st. They’re not the same as before. And what I ordered was not the same either. Instead it was a paper thin cut steak that was nasty! Should never have been changed for it. Only thing on that plate I did eat was the beans. My husbands plate was ok. But we won’t be going back!

I’ve come to the conclusion that even after reading reviews of a restaurant and seeing how people rave about a place, you can’t trust those reviews. If I am paying for food, I expect decent food. We tried Pedro’s as we’ve only just moved to the area. I was highly disappointed. Queso apparently goes on everything in OK, and I’ve had some good queso at other places. We went for lunch, and the chips and salsa were eh at best. The queso was watery and bland. There was virtually no spice or heat in the salsa. The quantity of food was fine, but it was tasteless. My husband thought the same of his. We won’t be back.
