Cracker Barrel is a solid option when it comes to a nice sit-down family meal. There are many options to choose from, so everyone in the family will find a pleasing item.

When ordering over medium eggs, and your used to the eggs coming out with the yolk slight cooked but still runny and the white fully cooked. Then order over medium well, I ordered over medium and got an over easy egg. Or might as well ask for the egg to be poached at that point. None the less their eggs were a 3 out of 10 not salted and lacked flavor. I did ask to speak to a manager after the server argued with me. The manager Dave politely came over and explained that they cook their eggs this way. I tried to Google a recipe where eggs were cooked the way they are explained and just could not find an example. It’s really not a big deal, but kinda like when you go to a steak house and the server repeats for you a description of how the steak will come out in case it differs from your thought process your able to make a quick change. I think this would work well for eggs as not ever resteraunt cooks their eggs the same. With the same expectation.

Boy oh boy! I didn’t even realize they sold breakfast! I got the hash brown casserole and bacon breakfast and it was awesome! Crunchy (not predominantly crunchy) and flavorful. Incredible service from John. Polite, helpful, and fun. Also loved the Okra!

I enjoy this restaurant chain for what it is. It has that hometown feel, just walk on up and sit and rock awhile. Then, come on in and enjoy some home style cooking. On the way out you spot that one candy you haven’t seen or tasted since you were a kid, and buy it.

My mom’s favorite place. I enjoy it for simple down home food. I never have a bad experience. Even if I have a concern, the staff fixes it immediately. You can’t beat the food or the prices!

I hadn’t been to CB in several years, so when a friend suggested it, i thought, why not. The food was good- I had the grilled chicken club sandwich and steak fries. Our server, Tracey, was 5- star. And I found something for my granddaughter in the gift shop, so all around, a good experience!

I had to pick someone up from the airport so I stopped at Cracker Barrel for dinner while I waited. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. They made it possible for me to sit at a table with an outlet close by so I could work while I waited on my laptop.

I ate there 3 mornings in a row, the first to was great, but the third, they seemed to be short staffed at first and then over staffed. I never really knew who my waitress was ? The food was excellent, except for the third morning as well. Half my meal was perfect, and the other was okay. I’m not sure what happened that day ?
