Our waitress was great, but our margaritas were horrible, tasted just like sweet and sour only. Our tacos were horrible with no flavor. Even the beans and rice and chips and salsa were not good. It was a total disappointment. First time I had a bad meal there. I’m wondering if it is new owners. Great service though

Held off writing a review until we had a second visit. At our first visit we were seated right away but waited 20 minutes to be greeted by the server. Apparently the host never told our server we were her table. She was apologetic and the rest of our night continued without incident. Unbelievably, our second visit had the exact same snafu. Seated and ate through a basket of chips before a server came over. It was especially odd because our booth was in a server’s section and she literally served the table in front of us and behind us…but not us!!! She had to walk past us to get to either of her two tables in that section and never even said hello. It was so awkward—as if she knew us, hated us, and was intentionally pretending like she didn’t see us!

Went here with a group of four. The service is tops! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating! They will go out of their way to try to make your experience a good one. On top of that, the food is excellent! I ordered the BBQ Chicken and it was delicious, tender, and juicy. Loved the sauce! The three people I was with also thoroughly enjoyed their food. You will not be disappointed in this place! Everything was excellent!

It started with the best chips and salsa we’ve ever had! And it just got better from there: burritos, tacos, tostadas and a cheeseburger with fries. All delish! Next time we’re starting our meal earlier so we have time for dessert!

Have not visited Ramona since 2010. I was very active in the community from 1993-2010. Nuevo Grill & Cantina was a go-to spot. When in Rome, go to Nuevo Grill or something like that. For those that remember and loved Carlos Murphy’s would appreciate Nuevo Grill. The owners came from Carlos Murphy’s and opened this place in Ramona. The food is good and the chips and salsa is world class. I had the Nuevo Caesar with shrimp and my wife had the Nuevo Tostada with shredded chicken. Salads were big and neither of us were able to finish them. In fact, my wife commented that she must have received an entire chicken! Service is friendly and they have acres of parking. If in Ramona, give Nuevo Grill & Cantina a try. I know you will love their chips and salsa. Yum!

Food was great, service was trash… Lupe seemed border lined intoxicated and was mouthy towards associates Infront of our whole table. Super unprofessional. Other than that the drinks and food was amazing. Will be coming back but will request to be assigned by others.

First time dining at Nuevo Grill & Cantina. Pretty good place. It’s located in a strip mall so parking is easy. They fun decor on the inside and the place was clean which is always a plus. Food was really good. We got a fish taco ala carte, chips with guac, and the langostino lobster taco plate with rice and beans. I can really only speak to 2 of the 3 dishes we ordered. The chips & guac were really good but I was a bit disappointed that chips and salsa weren’t complimentary when dining there. The Langostino lobster taco plate is $18 and comes with one taco, rice, beans, and sour cream. It was really good but way smaller than I was hoping. Overall I thought it was good and would eat there again if I’m ever in Ramona
