As the only Japanese-owned restaurant of its kind in town, Sake 107 offers high quality Japanese food and fine sake. While food at Sake 107 is prepared using traditional methods, novelty is in no way sacrificed. Some dishes include flavors and ingredients unique to Eiji’s home area of Aichi prefecture in Japan. Including ingredients that are local and sustainable is a high priority at Sake 107.
Many Sonoma County locals who love Japanese food know about Hana Japanese Restaurant in Rohnert Park where Eiji worked as a sushi chef from 2006 to 2011. In more recent years, before opening Sake 107, he worked at another high end sushi restaurant in San Anselmo called Sushi 69.

I ate dinner here on a Monday night and it was such a great experience! The food was amazing (I ordered their San Rafael roll) and the chef and staff were extremely kind and friendly. (They also have real wasabi, instead of wasabi made from horseradish, on the menu for a small price.) I also loved the ambiance, it’s very nicely decorated and a great spot for a fancy dinner. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

For vegetarians, this place has great options! Veg miso soup, “garlicky” eggplant, tasty sesame oil dressing on green salad… not to mention the tempura. Then there are several veg rolls, the highlight of which was definitely the Vegetarian 107 Special Roll. Great selection of sake. Excellent and attentive service. My wife said on the way out, “I haven’t been this emotional about food in a long time.” This place is a hidden gem! We will definitely be returning!

In this cute little area with some street parking. Very friendly staff, for sat down fairly quickly but it did take some time to get service and to put in our orders. It does take some time for the food to come out but the staff is incredibly friendly and constantly checks in with you. We ordered the Tuna Lily, San Rafael Roll, the Grilled Squid, Nigiri Sake Toro – Salmon Belly, and the Nigiri Ikura – Salmon Roe.

Very good. I gave it 4 stars just for the mere fact that it was a little too pricey. I certainly had much better for the same money or even a hair cheaper. The seared Tuna and the Wagyu Beef, were awesome. However $16 for one strip of Wagyu is a bit much especially a small one at that. $18 for 2 strips/thin slices of Tuna was also steep for the portion size, and was expecting that this is going to be the best i ever had, but unfortunately wasn’t. For the money i was setting the bar very high, thus, i am not sure if i would be back from a cost perspective, but the food was great over all.
