Great southern BBQ place that offers some of the best you have ever put into your mouth .

Quality Memphis style BBQ at a good price. Simple menu doesn’t need tons of options because they focus on the basics. Fall off the bone ribs and sliced sandwiches with slaw on top were great but those beans were some of the best I’ve had, anywhere!! Worth the detour from I-40. Cash only so be aware.

I think this is one of the oldest bbq restaurants in Arkansas. I don’t know if it’s under new ownership or what’s going on but they need help. Inside seating was closed and the employees only said that it’s closed for now but they have plans to open seating soon. There also was no where to sit outside. Order and leave, please. So you have to order from a small window and can’t really smell any bbqing going on. Bbq sandwich was just ok. Would not go back unless their’s some improvement on service and seating.

The tastiest BBQ sandwich you could ever hope for! Get yourself a few – they go down quick and you’ll definitely want another. Or be real smart and grab 10 at a time! They are great cold the next day. Sauce is amazing. Took my sister from Seattle to all the best restaurants in Little Rock, then asked her what her favorite meal was…she said the Craig’s BBQ sandwiches! Worth the drive , no matter how far you’re going.

Found this place after a long day of motorcycle riding. Absolutely loved the down home atmosphere! The food was simple but amazing! The BBQ was some of the best I’ve had. This place is proof that you don’t always need fancy furnishings or crazy ingredients to have a great restaurant. First time ever having coleslaw on BBQ, and I have to say it was fantastic and turned me into a convert! I would purposely go out of my way to stop in for a pulled pork sandwich!

Love eating at these lil hole in the wall places, so we made a special trip to come here. A hour out of our way.. The food just seems to taste better. I had a CB with pulled pork added. Heard this burger was fantastic so I had to try it with a lemonade. The burger gets a 4 bc the burger just wasn’t very well seasoned. but the pulled pork was great, and the lemonade was fantastic. I give it 3 bc there really isn’t much of a dine in. No restrooms and the ceiling has a bad sag to it. The place has a cluttered and unkept feeling to it. Would eat here again, but only if I’m in the area. No special trip, like this one.

Really great BBQ, unique sliced pork that you don’t see many places, if at all.

Off the grid, exiting the Des Arc exit if you’re coming from Little Rock (40 East) or the Biscoe exit if you’re coming from Memphis (40 West.) I don’t know if the “cash only” rule disappointed me or intrigued my curiosity so, I had to try it. I read the reviews and being the BBQ connoisseur (lol,) I took the road less taken. I ordered a pulled pork (they were out of beef,) and a rib sandwich with no sauce. The pork was perfectly seasoned and the BBQ sauce almost has a steak sauce flavor (vinegary) but works well with the cole slaw and the meat. The ribs were tender, well seasoned and actually tasted like they were smoked. Tastes like home cooked backyard BBQ. Long story short, this made #2 in my top 3 BBQ spots in Arkansas. My number #3 spot: Smoking In Style BBQ in Hot Springs (hadn’t tried McClards or Stubby’s yet.) And my #1 BBQ is: Pull Up At Big Dave’s in Little Rock. These lists can change!!! Fat Boys Killer BBQ on Arch St in Little Rock is my wild card for the ribs. Only one disappointment with Craig’s BBQ: the price on a slab of ribs. Upon return, I ordered a slab, with 4 sandwiches (at $5 a piece,) and a $3 smoked sausage. My total was $77!!! That’s a $50 slab of ribs!!! They don’t have a slab price, they charge by the pound. My advice, don’t order a slab, order 4 rib sandwiches and you got a slab with bread for half the price. I’m not going to rate them lower than 5-stars for that. I could’ve just said “no” but I paid for it ‍♂️ Regardless, I’ll be back and making better decisions next time lol.

Worth the trip! We stopped on a drive across the state and it was worth the detour. The pulled pork sandwiches and coconut pie were delicious and we were excited to take home sauce to our family!
