Denny’s was recommended by the desk staff of the Days Inn Greenfield. I had to go in and ask if there was adequate staffing for people seated outside. When the staff recognized that we and others were seated outside, the service improved. It was a cold morning and the propane heaters were just kit enough. Unless it’s a warm morning, I suggest indoor seating is preferred. The food was good, but after an hour of waiting for my pancakes, I was pretty much over the eagerness to enjoy a good meal. We weren’t the only ones waiting too long for what should have been an easily prepared meal. Look to keep a seat indoors or be forgotten.

Great experience. We knew when we pulled up to the build when it was packed we found a good thing. The building is deceiving from the outside, when we walked in there was plenty of room and we were very comfortable, great atmosphere. If you are looking for that classic country breakfast diner, you can find that here.

Terrible place to visit. Waited for more than twenty minutes after being seated then were given a menu then made to wait again for fifteen minutes before bringing us coffee and finally taking our order. Another man came in and sat behind us and got coffee and friendly service immediately. He placed his order and received it before ours. Looking around I could see how we were the only people of color in the place. I agree whole heartedly that it’s a great place if you’re white. Not welcoming if you’re not. Not a very welcoming or inclusive place to go for mediocre food. I’m a chef owner and am outraged at the mediocre food and even more so the lack of social skills or absence of social graces.

Great spot! Definitely has a strong regular crowd early in the AM. Decent prices ($10-12/plate for breakfast). Excellent customer service and quick, too. Food is good, not too greasy for a “greasy spoon” place. 😉 Takes debit/credit or cash.

Came to the area for a work trip and decided to stop by here for lunch. Got here around 12:30pm, the restaurant wasn’t too packed. The hostess was nice and sat me down quickly. I decided to sit outside to enjoy the weather.

What a gun place to eat breakfast. It made my day. The regular customers embrace the newbies. Dawn the server is obviously the catalyst of this awesomeness. I’ll go there EVERY time I’m in the area. And the food was excellent

Best breakfast place in town. Lunch is usually pretty good too, but breakfast seems to be the big draw. Awesome staff. Great service. Still the old local restaurant feel. Everyone knows everyone. Common to have tables.talking to each other

Stopped by out of the blue yesterday as I was in town to pick up some medical gear. It was my first time the and I enjoyed it. Decent prices and good food. Parking can be difficult as the lot is small.
