Boy oh boy!!!! I waited days for this okra soup. Straight to the point… ugh it was so bad! Small portions and tough meat. The soup had so many stiff strings in it I couldn’t enjoy! Whew this made me never want to cheat on my Top notch Restaurant again ♀️Royal I promise I’ll be obedient Absolutely won’t be back! P.s they do have a 35 dollar buffet for the takers! The place was nice but please improve your soup/portions. Be blessed everyone!

We decided to stop by here for taco Tuesday after seeing promos for their food on social media, especially the tacos. They did not disappoint, really good. My friend ordered the curry goat and it was cold, lack flavor and was tough.

I wasn’t impressed with the food. We ordered the chicken suya for appetizer and it wasn’t hot at all. It felt like someone put it in the microwave and brought it out. Not much flavor to it. We only had a few bites and let it go. I ordered the jollof rice with assorted meat, again, it wasn’t hot. Maybe it was sitting out in the open before it came to us IDK. Plus, it lacked seasoning and spiciness. I’ll only go back for the cool atmosphere, not for the food. The service was good too. Our server was friendly.

Ordered tacos yesterday that took almost an hour to come out and I was highly disappointed the description on the menu isn’t how they make then after attempting to eat one they sent them back and remade them but that also took another hour. The meat the second round was dry and now my stomach hurts badly. I think I’ll pass on eating here again. Drinks are always good and service is nice but they definitely need to improve on the food. This is the photo of the first round of tacos full of raw white and red onions when the description doesn’t mention onions at all. I don’t like onions especially this many it was more than meat. The second round I took to go because of the long wait time.

Great service and great vibe. We had the fried red snapper, Jollof rice, stew chicken, cabbage and barbecue chicken wing appetizer. My husband was not a fan of the stew chicken but they switched it out for him timely. It was flavorful but a bit. We also tried a couple of their signature cocktails and both were great. One of them was the the sunrise made with white rum. It was very refreshing. Our server, Mari was very pleasant and attentive. The food came out very hot and fresh. She answered all of our questions about the menu and helped us pick the perfect cocktails. We will definitely return to try other menu items.

Parking lot was clean. First thing I look at before deciding I’m going to shop with you. Treated nicely and communicated effectively throughout my walk-in to-go order interaction. (She strongly suggested the right rice because I usually don’t have a chosen appetite for rice) . Delicious . If only the hotel behind had a cleaner parking lot. I would have conveniently came back and explored more of the culture and food, since I’ll be in here in NC for many consecutive weekends.
