Great experience, shout out to Mel for awesome service. My lady and I enjoyed a salad, chili & cheese dog, old bay wings, turkey melt & nachos. The food was delicious and served pretty fast considering that we dined at the boardwalk location by Jolly Roger park.

About 6pm, after a lovely day at the beach on 7/23/2023, a teenager in our family wanted to eat at Dough Roller, 3rd and Boardwalk, Ocean City, MD. We walked as a family about 2 miles along the boardwalk to get there. Upon arriving, I advised a female hostess 7 persons were in our party, one of which was a young child. We were seated in a partitioned area with 6 chairs separated from a second table by the partition. A chair was added at the end of the table at which we were being seated in a narrow isle across from a party in a booth. There were ample tables and chairs that could have better accommodated our party and the establishment was not even half full with customers. Given the cramped seating while attempting to sit at the table and the stature in size of persons in our party (over 6 feet tall and 250 – 300lbs), a member of our party went to ask our hostess if we could sit at both tables separated only by the wooden partition between us. The other table was empty. We were informed it would be okay. After I went to the restroom to wash my hands, I returned to be informed that a woman with another employee had both rudely demanded to know why we could not just sit at the one table. Given the tone of the demand, my family was shocked. I walked over to a male employee observing what was taking place and asked to speak to a manager. He asked me to wait for a minute and summoned a woman who was taking an order from the people at the booth across from us. After several minutes of writing down their order, the gentleman summoned her over to me at which point he left our presence. Upon explaining the situation, she merely looked at me without comment. At this point, my family members in dismay decided they no longer wished to dine there. Seated customers were onlookers to what was taking place. My family and I gathered our belongings and departed. As we left I politely told the person who was said to be the manager that the rudeness and unprofessional customer service such as we had just encountered was “bad for business.” Needless to say, Dough Roller at this location will never again earn our patronage

This pizza is just okay. If your desperate and need to grab a slice it’s not the worst but you are definitely surrounded with much better options.

I had Dayton’s “Boardwalk Famous” fried chicken. Infamous would be a better description. For starters, it had no seasoning at all. It tasted like the only ingredient was flour. I was grateful for the bottle of garlic salt at the table, so I could attempt to give the chicken some flavor. Next, the size of the chicken breast and leg was not much bigger than a Cornish game hen. The worst part was the dryness of the chicken. I was so desperate for moisture with the chicken I had no choice but to choke down some of the worst coleslaw I ever tasted. I also verified how awful the coleslaw was with two other members of my group, and they agreed. I can say the fries and onion rings were good. Also the waitress was very nice.

I mistakenly ordered a pizza online from this location when I meant to from another location. It took a minute, but their manager was able to take care of my situation even though it was my own fault.

It was a nice area to get a break after the kids went swimming. It said it didn’t have restrooms, which thankfully we didn’t need to use while there, so idk if it was a temporary thing or not. Waitress was nice, food was good.

Came in with another couple and 4 kids server was extremely rude and acted like we were a burden. Kids were all well behaved, server needs training on being more pleasant to all patrons not adults only.

Classic OC boardwalk place for solid pizza (not the best but unique – super cheesy and a buttery good crust). Their cheese fries and onions rings are also great. The Daytons fried chicken they have can be hit or miss. I’ve had super tender and juicy with a great fried seasoning and sometimes it been dry and over fried. Stick with a pizza and split a 2pc fried chicken dinner and you’ll be good to go!
