First time dining with my family here and we were delighted with our experience. Every dish was beautifully constructed and more importantly, tasted amazing! You can just tell the ingredients are top notch, fresh, and well worth the price of the dinner. Nowhere else on the shoreline near Clinton can compare so far. I’ve been to plenty of sushi places and Japanese restaurants in Connecticut, but I must say Hanami takes the cake for me! From appetizer to entree to dessert, the food was fresh and flavorful ranging from classic/creative takes on sushi to the comforting taste of ramen and choices of toppings. Compared to the other places I’ve been to where they go over the top on some dishes, at this place, I could taste the quality elements of each roll joined together to create a balanced blend of flavors.

Birthday dinner celebration with the family. Was seated promptly, although quite busy. Ordered gyoza, shumai, and tuna tartar for starters. All were great. We went on to indulge in the sushi boat and my husband had seafood udon. The quality of the rolls and seafood was excellent. We’ll be back

I visited Hanami for the first time recently and had a wonderful experience! The sushi was amazing with every roll having something unique that set it apart from the rest, and the servers were very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress went out of her way to make sure we had a great time and even gave us some recommendations on what to order. OMG! I’m a huge sushi fan, but Hanami is BY FAR my favorite! I didn’t know what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The sushi was delicious! I had a few different pieces and rolls and each one left my mouth watering! The whole staff was so friendly, especially our waitress, who was absolutely delightful! Safe to say I will be coming back ASAP!
