Has a very good dedicated staff that always finds the best possible way to please the consumer. Quality and friendly service since 2006. Prices are high yes but your paying for “Seafood” shipped in fresh. Yes its at a mall, i think people forget how the economy is terrible. Gas and food and sales tax are high here in Washington state. As a golden rule be kind and respectful to the individual taking a food order and preparing it for you.

Great service EVERY time we go! Nice people and always friendly and smiling. Sometimes people say it costs a bit more than typical junky fast food but real food (like when they say fish and it’s actually real fish) costs more than fillers and tastes fantastic!

Best chow’da ever! The staff was a bit slow – but what do you want at a mall in the early spring (winter basically). I ordered a bucket of chowder (probably 32 oz) for $9 and change and a piece of halibut for $5. The chowder probably would last the normal person 2 meals (especially at 1260 calories) but NOT THIS GUY! The lady helping me was nice enough to give me an extra piece of halibut because the piece she gave me was like the crumbs at the bottom of the bag or something – so I probably ended up with about one and a half pieces of halibut. Bottom line – delicious food and good service.

Ivar’s has the best northwest clam chowder I have tasted anywhere. I also love their fish and fries with malt vinegar. The prices are a little on the high side compared to most restaurants, but so is every other place that serves fish. And I have always loved their sense of humor in their commercials. Keep clam. Ivers.

Went with a friend , both had the exact meal! Cod and chips! Both of us got Violently sick 1/2 hour after eating! Tried to call and report it but the phone just rang off the wall! Not at all worth the tiny pieces of fish the $26.00 I spent for 2 meals! And for sure having to spend time being ill! In a store restroom! ☠ Yuk!

I’ve enjoyed Ivar’s Fish bars in Seattle since 1960. The swill they serve now isn’t worth eating. The portions are small and overbreaded and the fries have lost their crispness over time.

The bigger blonde that works here should not be I’m customer service! I will be calling management and making a complaint. My boyfriend and I ordered food and he asked how much for a cup of ice and she completely ignored him. I commented loudly about it then she rolled her eyes said it was free.. After that she was just glaring at him rolled her eyes again when he asked for more napkins. I have never been treated so poorly. I will not be returning and she should either wipe her ugly glare off her face or get a new job!

Yuck. Went there for the first time in years. The cod was all freezer burnt, pale color and tasteless. Service and fries were ok, but serving freezer burned junk won’t earn my return business.

Fish portions could be more generous, the fish was flaky and moist. The calm chowder is the , very well balanced, no fishy taste to it!

Great fries and tartar sauce. A good place to go for a quick bite of seafood, though a bit pricey.
