I think pizza chef is a chain restaraunt- I’m assuming that because there seems to be a pizza chef in every surround town to new london. Anyway- don’t waste your time on any other pizza chef- new london is where it’s at. Certainly not the cheapest place but it’s quality and consistent quality at that – that is hard to find these days

Bright, cheery place to stop for lunch. The town was a lovely diversion from the highway, and our group of 5 tried salads, subs, and a Syrian. We all left feeling very happy. Satisfying, but not absurdly large portions.

First time eating here and I really enjoyed the pizza. Ordered mine with extra sauce. They made it perfectly with ample amount of toppings. The crust was exceptional holding everything together so my pizza didn’t fall apart. Would definitely come again.

Always friendly and efficient. The pizza and subs are consistently good. The ambiance inside is 1960’s typical pizza shop with booths and sports on the tube. Parking is usually easy and I have never had to wait for a table. Just good reliable food.
