I don’t get the single star reviews. If you’ve ever eaten in Skippack then you know many of the restaurants are old converted houses and that is part of the charm. Don’t like that? Go someplace else, there are plenty other places to eat.

We live in Chestnut Hill and I wanted to try something different. We went there for the first time last week for my birthday. It is a very cozy place situated in an old house. I am sure that if the weather were better, it would be a very nice place for out door dining.

I really liked this place! I loved the cozy intimate atmosphere and our waiter Adam was very attentive and welcoming. Everything we had was delicious – calamari, grilled cheese, mozzeralla sticks, seafood combo platter even on down to the tropical juice! Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and looking to get away from your run of the mill chain restaurant.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant it was a bad experience! It is a house with the living room converted into a restaurant. There were about 9 tables and it was dead on a Saturday night which is a bad sign. The ambiance is horrible with Disco Era chandeliers, seashells, traditional and Asian all mixed together. It is an assault on the eyes and so cheaply and tastlessly decorated. Table linens were an mix of some white, some red and some burgundy with a paper sheet on top like you see at restaurants where they sell steamed crabs and people are going to break them open at the table.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was probably the best seafood we have had in the Norristown, Collegeville, Lansdale, Harleysville area. We were a party of 5 with a two month old baby. We shared three appetizers of stuffed grape leafs, calamari and clam strips which we thoroughly enjoyed. For entrees, two of us had Fruit of the Sea (Mussels, Clams, Shrimp, Scallops and Crabmeat with a Choice of Creamy or Marinara Over Linguini), two of us had the Seafood Combo (Stuffed Shrimp, Crab Cakes, Scallops and Baked Clams) and one had the Dill Salmon. We all ate every last bite. No leftovers for us which is atypical. We were also celebrating a special birthday and they allowed us to bring in our own birthday cake. How accommodating. The wait staff and chef/owner couldn’t have been kinder and made sure we enjoyed every bite. As we live in Skippack, they will, for sure, be seeing our faces again and often. FYI~ I overheard a lady at a nearby table say, “This is to die for” three times throughout her meal. It looks like we weren’t the only ones enjoying our meal.

For an owner of a restaurant to deny a Groupon for “new ownership” is embarrassing. I entered the place with my wife and kids and was yelled at from the kitchen that they will not take the groupon I just purchased a few days ago.

Food was delicious and service was excellent. I will be making this a regular stop. It is a house converted into a restaurant but we love that kind of atmosphere. The chef comes out and talks to you and you feel like family. Loved it.

Sorry..I’m disappointed. I would love tto.see your restaurant succeed. Don’t skimp on your seafood..trying to pass off mediocre for prime.isnt a way to gain repeat business. When I pay 30.00 for scallops I expect Sea scallops. The deserts and wait staff..A+
