Came with some friends and ordered a bunch of appetizers. The gumbo was delicious. The charbroild oysters were a great example of the dish if you’re sharing with someone who’s never had them before. The boudin balls were really nice. The grilled gator bites would also be a solid introduction if you’ve never had gator before.

Came here late on a Sunday, and I got a great server. She was attentive and suggested great dishes. Their signature Oysters were bomb. Can probably convert some non-believers. Everyone suggested the Seafood Pasta, and you definitely can not go wrong with it. Make sure to walk the waterfront afterwards!

They accommodated our group of 20 at 3 tables. Our waitress was awesome! Oysters are a must! The lobster stuffed with pasta was amazing! Jambalaya was decent.

Had to try those famous oysters…they were delicious but there are definitely better out there. I would say to only try the oysters if you have ever dined in a fine dining setting. The pricing does not match the quality. Steak quality was not the best but the seasoning helped. I will say, without going into too much detail, my stomach was UPSET by the end of the night.

I visited in 2021 and my kid was 8. Grilled oysters became his favorite seafood dish and he still talks about it.

Extremely busy, but it was during essence so understandable!! This spot is known for oysters so highly recommend getting them!! The shrimp pasta wasn’t too bad either!! Fried gator was bigger pieces than other places, really good!! Also the alligator tacos was bomb, recommend getting those as a starter!!

The restaurant wasn’t too busy at 5pm on a Saturday, after less than 5 minutes we had a table (though we had to wait for the entire party of 5 to arrive before they would seat us.)

I’m torn on this review. I think had we gone to the original restaurant, our experience would have been different. The place was crowded, so we ate at the bar. We had intended to take our time and order a couple rounds of drinks but our food came out in 5 minutes and once our food came, the bartender gave us our bill. We had planned on ordering another round of drinks and a sweet treat, but we were rushed out.

I TRADITIONALLY prefer raw on the 1/2 shell. Let me tell you I AM SOLD on the char grilled oysters @DRAGO’s the flavor is amazing. You can try the 1/2 dozen but you might as well get the full.

3 stars because it should be illegal to call it “lobster Mac and cheese” ($20). More like a couple of lobster bits if you’re able to even find it. Didn’t even have a lobster taste. The 5 microscopic pieces of red you see in the photo is the “lobster” in case you were also wondering where it was located – there wasn’t any additional pieces either. What you see is what I got.
