Incredible dinner! $1 oyster night success. They were great. We started with the not spinach dip, melt in your mouth good. After the large oysters we had bayou pasta which was filled with flavor! For dessert, the bread pudding was the right amount of sweet and not too heavy.

Our server Tristan was amazing and so helpful! He made our experience even more enjoyable! In addition to service, the interior and food were fantastic! Would highly recommend. Everything we ordered was so good. GREAT french toast and smothered chicken!

Walking distance from my home, this restaurant was quite a surprise. 2 of my daughters and I decided to grab lunch here in passing to go home. When I say omggg. I must admit.. I was not expecting much .. the staff was friendly and the food mouth watering! We ordered the oysters (raw) first and they were absolutely delicious and sooooo fresh that even my 16 year old raved. We ordered the barbecue shrimp and the jus that accompanied it was soooo good.. even better when the bread soaked it up. The deviled eggs with salmon on top. What a beautiful surprise. Let’s not forget the charbroiled oysters .. perfect! And we were soooooo shocked when my 6 year olds chicken nuggets came out. I promise you that the chicken was so good it tasted like it was raised my both parents (lol) I can’t wait to take a stroll back over and ASAP.

Fantastic food and atmosphere! The Oysters were incredible as were the deviled eggs. The drinks were just what we needed on a hot July night. This is my fourth time going to Lagards and it hasn’t disappointed yet!

Went to Lagarde as the New Orleans, Cajun inspired menu looked really tempting.

Oyster nights. Gumbo. Jambalaya. Red beans and rice. So many beer and wine selections. The service is fabulous. The ambiance is perfect. But the outdoor dining…excellent.

We REALLY wanted to like this place. We were so excited at the prospect of having a great Nola-inspired restaurant in Milton – unfortunately, it fell very short. Let me start with the good: the hostess was incredibly sweet, the food was out quickly, deviled eggs & ricotta appetizers were delicious and beautifully presented, the outdoor seating was very cute. The not-so-good: things started to fall apart when we received our entrees. Our plates arrived and the presentation was lackluster – ketchup and sauces in small paper cups with little thought to how the food was placed on the plate. When paying roughly $14 per plate, you’d expect just a little more finesse. We ordered the short rib sandwich and the smash burger, both of which were very dry, lacking seasoning, and requiring more sauce. We requested Cajun seasoning on the tater tots and french fries but they were still incredibly bland. The tots and fries themselves appeared (and tasted) like they were straight out of a frozen bag into the frier. The indoor seating was nothing special; ambiance inside was definitely disjointed and left much to be desired. We would love to see this new restaurant fix its quirks and become a staple in Milton. Service was fast and friendly, appetizers were wonderful, bar & outdoor were excellent. However, the entrees and indoor dining were reminiscent of eating at a mediocre diner. Truly think that with a little work, this place could be great! We will have to return and try it out again once they’ve been around a little longer. For now, I’d skip it.

I had a hard time believing the 3-star rating Lagarde was getting so I had to try it for myself. Turns out it’s about right. There are some notable standouts such as the roasted beets appetizer which the server recommended — very good choice.

Really liked the curbside seating and it was a nice day. Service was fine, did their job. The food was weak. Albeit they apparently are strong with New Orleans style, and that is not my fav, I got the grilled trout and my wife a dinner salad and both were very bland. The calamari appetizer was good. I also ordered a bottled beer, but just got a beer in a glass and have no idea if it was what I ordered or not. Overall enjoyed the time with family, but not because of the food, and imo for a restaurant, that is what matters most.
