Was just okay at best. Typical Chipotle like food. Kitchen was pretty dirty and most of the staff looked like they just rolled out of bed. They weren’t exactly friendly either. I did appreciate 50% off for military Monday but probably won’t be back.

I love this place. My family has eaten at least twice a month since they have opened. Their food is awesome. Tastes great and always fresh. I love the fresh tortillas and the salsa verde. Also they support the military! They have Military Monday where you get 50% off with valid id ! Even without the discount we would eat here. Coming from San Diego I didn’t think I would get decent tacos in Lexington Park Maryland. Been to 8 Mexican Restaurants so far and Cafe Rio has been our favorite place to get tacos! The food is incredible. You won’t be disappointed!

They are great. Well set up for this COVID-19. Everything is marked out well on floor as to where you should stand and you enter through the front and leave out the side. Their outside dining area is set up well for distancing and shade. The service was fast and the food was great! I had the steak quesadilla and my wife had the salad. Both of us enjoyed the entire experience! 🙂

Great place for fast casual dining in the flavor of northern Mexico with a bit of Texas and a touch of Baja as well, it seems. They have a fairly simple menu of great dishes that are well put together with big portion sizes and fresh ingredients. The food and sauce flavors tend toward the strong side but that doesn’t have to mean spicy as they have a wide variety of sauce and salsa options from which you can choose. As with many fast casual dining experiences, the food assembly line is done serially so you are always the victim of the complexity of the orders in front of you. With that said, the line generally moves quickly except at the highest peak times. The dining room is kept quite clean with a nice atmosphere and a contemporary southwest decor. A pleasing experience overall, my only complaint is that for some reason, many dishes will come out only slightly warmer than lukewarm. This seems to vary depending on the day and time of day but I have yet to determine a trend. My only suspicion is that perhaps the conveyor belts oven is not hot enough to truly bring up the temperature of the food, only to melt the cheese. Overall, I would recommend this as a good choice in the greater California Maryland metropolitan area.

Went at 12:30 on a Saturday, on purpose & was surprised at how good the food was! The staff was not the nicest, But the food was very savory, fresh and filling! Also, the cashier tried to charge me $5 for 2 water cups!!! I asked him for a medium cup since I didn’t want to refill the tiny cup 500 times that they give as their courtesy cup. I don’t see what the big deal is asking for a medium size cup for WATER. Any establishment shouldn’t charge for water anyway… Am i missing something? I went back again and had the same guy that tried to charge me for water. He just does not have a friendly personality.

Yummy food, and there were options that would fit in my calorie count, as well as options for larger appetites. The setup is to go through a line as your dish is customized, so the wait is minimal. The people handling the process were friendly and efficient. Music was just loud enough to cover other conversations but still let us hear each other at our table. Also available to go.

They operate similarly to Chipotle with a food “assembly line” but have a broader and more interesting menu. I tried two tacos with each of the chicken styles that they offer and both were very good. The tacos came with rice and beans but all that was more than I could eat. The staff was friendly and efficient so overall a solid choice over the big chains.

Do not go here for burritos if you are vegetarian! This place must be for meat eaters. For $10.06 I got a soggy doughy vegetarian burrito with undercooked rice and beans and a scoop of tomato salsa after waiting 15 minutes to order. No peppers or onions offered, no corn salsa, and a sorry looking guacamole mix that I did not have the nerve to try. I do not want cheese and sour cream thank you! Of the four people I spoke to over the glass, I could clearly understand one. The person running the cash register must have been in training so there were a couple of attempts needed. By the time I sat down to eat my meal it was not very warm. I give the place points for cleanliness , plus the people roving through the tables were nice. But back to Chipolte and Moe’s I go for that kind of fast Mexican.

Very tasty food and cool drinks. Their tomatillo cilantro lime sauce is superb on almost anything. Use their app and you’ll often get really good discounts. Not sure if this is at every location but this one is usually kind of unpleasant to order at, maybe they can’t hear well from behind the glass and often seem to get confused by any non-standerd requests. Over half the time they mess up an order but that normally just means you get extra food for free.

Ok, I’ll start off with saying that I’m willing to change this rating in the future. The food is great, the employees are nice, but god forbid you order any of the daily specials. You’ll find yourself standing out of the way for the 10-15 people who will complete their order before you get yours.
