5/14/23- About average for a Cracker Barrel and that’s why I gave them the average score of 3 stars. Didn’t get to eat here since they were super busy. This is also one of the few Cracker Barrels to have free wifi. Good variety of geeky products.

Cracker Barrel never fails to make you feel like you’ve just come home from a long day at work and Dinner is ready, i mean every time, just walking in the door is like “honey I’m home, what’s for dinner” you will be treated just like family even if it’s your 5th or 55th time, Cracker Barrel is your second country home away from home i promise

Came here just before 11 to get lunch with a group of 6. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Ended up getting the 6oz steak which came with 3 sides! Food was delicious I only wish the portion sizes were a bit bigger. Though for the price it was well worth it

My wife ordered the chicken and french toast, and when it arrived it was less than half the plate (see photo). I ordered the country boy breakfast with sirloin steak, cooked medium, but it was bloody (definitely medium rare). The photo shows the puddle of blood on my plate, which should never happen with a medium cook on a steak. When my wife asked for the manager to complain about her meal, he came out, shrugged, and said it was “corporate’s fault” and we “should complain to them” because there was nothing he could do. He walked away without offering any kind of solution (even something as simple as an extra piece of toast) and then, for the remainder of the time we were there, he would stare at me every time he came out of the kitchen. Next, my wife drinks hot tea, but not the kind they serve at Cracker Barrel, which is fine, and she always asks for a cup of hot water instead. Not ONE time (and we eat there frequently) do they ever ask if she would like a refill when they come to the table asking if I’d like more coffee. When my wife said something this morning to the waitress about that, she got a snarky smart-aleck grin on her face and said “people usually ask” for hot water refills. Even THEN she made no offer to bring more. She just walked away with that grin on her face. Overall, Cracker Barrel is a good restaurant chain – but the location in Pueblo is HORRIBLE. Indifferent service and child-sized portions are the standard, apparently.

My friends and I had a good time at this restaurant. Our server Amanda was great. Lesley at checkout was very sweet. She helped my friend and I pick out candles. I would have like the appetizers to be more quantity for the price we paid for them such as the beignets and cheese curds. The silverware also may need to be washed twice or polished. Also, the strawberries were not fresh. I was disappointed in that due to paying extra to have them.

We always enjoy our meals here, the food is usually pretty solid, however today one of my pancakes was underdone in the center. I tried their mimosas for the first time and that was great, they even brought extra orange juice so that I could have it to my liking. Our waiter was sweet enough to bring our young one an apple sauce while we waited for our food.

Went in for some last minute birthday gifts and these guys always deliver. You’ll find something serious, silly and stupid just for fun. The food is always great but I didn’t have time for a bite. The people working always help out with a smile.

If I could give it zero stars I would. My last review was two years ago and I have given it multiple opportunities to improve before writing this. It has not. So here is my updated review. 1. One of the managers does not care about much, mostly customer complaints and customer service. 2. They let people sit in the rockers out front, right next to the front door, and smoke. There is a policy in CO about clean air & 25 feet…they should read it. Not everyone wants to walk thru secondhand smoke before AND after eating. 3. The meat is NEVER fully cooked and most of the time cold. 4. The chicken fried steak needs to be cut with a chainsaw not a knife. 4. The chairs inside are rickety and need to be replaced. 5. They are ALWAYS understaffed or at least that’s the excuse used for poor service and ridiculous wait times; Door Dash included. I am not a Dasher but my Dashers always tell me they are sorry for my wait but the merchant doesn’t have it ready. 15-20 minutes later they are still apologizing. I bet at least 25% of their sales come from Door Dash so they may want to work on that. I will NOT be going back or ordering from Door Dash at this restaurant.

So the wait time for a table was right at an hour (I used the time we checked in with the hostess to the time we sat down), which I guess is about right for a Sunday lunch post-church crowd. But once we were seated, our food came out within 15 minutes!
