They were a little short on staff when we came in but the waitress was still very attentive and got our orders right. Someone in our group had to leave early and they were great about packaging their food. Good food for the price for breakfast. Classic diner!

My first clue to a bad experience should have been the empty parking lot at 4:30 pm! My husband and I were the only customers and it still took almost 45 minutes to get served. He ordered breaded perch which was hard as a rock. Mashed potatoes were instant, but he liked the corn. My beef tips with noodles was a good sized portion and tasted good to me. The salad bar was a joke as there were hardly any toppings. All 4 mayonnaise salads were brown and dry. I tried a 3 bean salad with Italian dressing and it tasted rancid. The best thing there was the waitress who appeared embarrassed and apologized numerous times for the “new cook”. Don’t waste your money here.

Stopped in for a late lunch. This place has been around a long time. The food was good but the menu prices are not accurate. We were charged at the register higher than the menu stated. The waitstaff was new and could not reach a manager for explanation or adjustment. Be aware that the price you see may not be what you pay. EDIT – The item was the chopped sirloin for each of us.

In from out of town, but my parents go here a lot so I tried it. The meatloaf attacker was amazing and so was the stuffed cabbage soup that day. The menu has an enormous variety to choose from. Extremely nice people too. I recommend trying this place at least once.

I had one of the strangest experiences TRYING to eat at a restaurant this evening. I had searched google maps for a homestyle restaurant in the area, and this restaurant seemed to have a very extensive menu with many choices. My family of 4 arrived at the restaurant at 6pm on a Friday evening. While waiting for someone to greet us, I was reading the sign with the specials on it. The hostess came out and immediately said something about them being out of fish (as I glanced at the specials again, it appeared they were doing an all you can eat fish special). I said, “OK.” she looked at me and said, “we aren’t serving anyone.” I was a little thrown off by this statement, because I thought the restaurant had an extensive menu, so being out of fish shouldn’t cause them to not be able to seat customers. While I completely understand being out of something; it seems as though the customer could be greeted and have the situation explained a little nicer. Had she bothered to ask, she would have found out that we didn’t even WANT the fish. However, after that interaction, I didn’t have any interest in eating there.

Jordans has been around for ever. The woman waitress, name slips me has been there as long I I can remember. She does it all. Food is not bad. Prices are fair. Soup and Salad bar are not the freshest but it not really bad. It is truly a neighborhood family place to eat
