Very nice and clever mountain vibe with great portions of well done food. Initially attentive server got distracted and also we wanted to sit outside on the patio but we’re denied although others subsequently were seated there. I’d still go back as it was a nice spot to stop on our motorcycle ride through the canyon.

We love to stop and eat here after a day of hitting the trials with the car or bike. My go to is the smothered fajita burrito with beans.

Ahh yes. On your way into or from the mountains this location offers good food and great service. I tried apple pie a La mode. I couldn’t control myself and ate it pretty fast. My advice is to stop by take a break from I lovely, drive and enjoy.

Friendly service and cute cafe style atmosphere. The chili Renello looked great but had issues with the steak burger. The entire thing came out cold, steak included. The cheese want melted on the bun and was shredded so it just fell out and made a mess when you tried to eat it. The Green and red peppers looked like they were sauteed at some point but along with everything else was ice cold. Only visiting the area for a couple weeks and would likely not go back. Gave 3 stars as the chili cheese fries and chili renello were good according to my table mates.

We have always enjoyed talking our families and visitors here for a special treat on a trip to the mountains. And it is a fun stop ever time without a hiccup at all. The staff is always helpful and friendly and today the weather made it a great day to enjoy the deck and meet new people that live in the area. The chocolates and pies are hand made and delicious. It is also a very clean place with more seating area than it looks like from the outside. You will enjoy this five star experience!

Wondervu Cafe is a small local establishment that is relatively close to Gross Reservoir and hiking. As with most restaurants, they are short staffed so please be patient and kind to the hardworking staff. I ordered the #9 Guacamole Tostada Plate and I thought it was delicious. My husband ordered the #6 Large Combination and thought it was okay. I like the Wondervu salsa which I have purchased at Whole Foods and Heinie’s Market as well. For dessert, I ordered an Irish coffee truffle and oatmeal cookie. Jennifer our server was nice and I would be willing to come back.

I was hoping that there was another breakfast spot since Ned’s closed. Nope! Ordered a omelet, a burrito came out. Sent it back, got a cold omelet. (Not warm enough to melt the cheese that was on top). Toast was cold and unbuttered. Never did get my tomato juice. (That I was charged for) We will not be back for breakfast.

We dined on 6/18. After being asked if we had a reservation and responding no, we were give a table in a back room. Even though, we were treated like we were lucky to get a table, we observed that there were many open tables on the patio that were open and remained open the entire hour and 15 minutes we were there and other tables inside were open as well. We waited an hour for the food that was ordered including sodas that were ordered. We will not be returning, this is the worst service we have ever had at a restaurant.
