The staff was friendly which is always important at a small hotdog place. However the soda machine was broke and the food wasn’t really memorable. I struggled with this because I almost want to give them 4 stars just for the service but I just thought the food was average for a dog stop.

One of the best local eateries around. Always a fantastic experience when here. The Garlic Cheesy Beef is one of their staple menu items, it’s a MUST have.

Stoped in for a quick bite. I haven’t been here in a few years and it’s still as great as I remember it to be. It’s a great place to swing in have some food and get back on your way. Thank you for a good lunch.

Agreed the food is good, but what’s up with the prices? I was in on a Tuesday, so I ordered off the prominently displayed menu board….two 1/2 off Tuesday hotdogs. “No longer half priced” said the order taker. So I ordered three Italian beefs shown at $6.75 only to be charged $7.75 a piece. What’s the point of having a menu board if nothing on it’s correct?!

The food was delicious! The service was mediocre, but the restaurant was DIRTY. The girl behind the counter should have been cleaning rather than reading a book. There was dust on EVERYTHING, and the tables were not cleaned for probably a week. I was on a road trip with my kids, so didn’t decide to leave because 4 hungry kids would have been stressful… just makes me wonder if the kitchen looks as bad as the lobby. If I didn’t see the inside of this place, I would have given it 5 stars… but probably won’t be back due to the cleanliness.

Ordered gyros to go the order wasn’t correct called then returned with item that wasn’t correct an employee there of 16 yrs was disrespectful to my wife to the point that the owner came in & and I myself had to drive up there to finally get a peaceful resolve. Also the employee said he doesn’t respect the Flag of The United States of America. I will not patronize this business ever again. I’m a combat veteran & cannot walk into this establishment ever in Life. You do not disrespect The Flag!

I am responding based on EL Hudson’s last review on the gyros incident. I was in line witnessing the complete ridiculous nature of these two customers and their rude and unjustified interactions with the staff of the Dogfather. Nothing in this review was correct- as the customers were completely in the wrong- treating the young girl taking orders and the cook poorly while they were trying to politely accommodate their bullying. The customer did not return the sandwich- they must have ate it and then expected the staff to provide them with a new sandwich order made to their specifications. If it truly was wrong- they should have returned with the sandwich and the staff would have fixed the order for them- no questions asked. As a long time customer- I can attest to the fact that Tony and his entire crew are nothing but kind, generous and loyal to all people. As for being Anti- American- Tony has not only the American Flag displayed, but the Declaration of Independence as well .

Most consistent restaurant in Bartlett, hands down. Never had a bad experience in 15 years of visiting. Tony knows what’s up and I’m just surprised he hasn’t opened elsewhere.

The last time I was here it was pre covid and the food was excellent. Post covid it definitely went down a bit. I ordered a hot dog onion rings and a coke. The onion rings were disappointing. They were more soggy than crispy. The hot dog I would say was average. The bun was not stale but it was not the freshest either.
