I can’t say enough good things about The Local. I’ve been once before for lunch, so I decided it would be a good spot to take my mom for her birthday dinner. Everything was delicious. The chicken fried deviled eggs are out of this world! I had the short ribs and she had the beef stroganoff. Both were amazing. And while we don’t normally do dessert, it was a special occasion so we splurged. And the bananas foster did not disappoint. The whole experience was wonderful, from the food to the service. Our server was so warm and welcoming, as well as incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when it came to the menu. We can’t wait to come back!

Was our first visit here. it’s bigger inside than it looks from outside. a nice comfortable clean atmosphere . Everyone was pleasant and engaging. Our server when she had a few minutes came to chat with us to tell about the restaurant and the owner, of their overall goals to be the kind of place that people love to come to and recommend to their friends. Then the food came out! All I could say is, wow, this is a nice Hidden Gem. You need to check it out. You will be glad you did.

My wife’s short rib was awesome and my halibut was OK. Mixed drinks were very good. We finished with ice cream and a large cake that we couldn’t finish both were excellent. The only thing we didn’t like was our table location. We felt like we were sitting in the middle of a highway, lol. Between waiters and the chef bringing out beef wellington to cut it was very busy around us.

I had a great birthday dinner! Food and drinks were delicious! We had the chicken marsala and the salmon for entrees, we added the cream corn (wow!) and the risotto to share, so good! Appetizers were the chicken fried deviled eggs, cream of crab soup and charcuterie board..all so good! Drinks were the honey bee and the step brother. Everything was excellent. Amazing locally sourced drinks and food! We had the oysters (how could you go wrong?) porkchop and Leo’s tuna. For dessert we ended with the s’mores and espresso martini. Absolutely phenomenal. Will be coming back, and bringing all of our friends and family to taste the rest of the menu.

It was slightly too sweet and heavy for us. The idea and combinations behind everything were great but just too sweet for us. The service was nice since we shared the entree They separated into two dishes for us. Overall I love the ambiance.

Our favorite restaurant in the Harco area. Amazing service. Mr. Lou was wonderful in helping us find a table even though we came in early. The food is always on point. Highlights and must gets… roasted oysters, beef carpaccio, egg with fried chicken and hot sauce (amazing) and for entree the duck and dumplings is a must. Thanks for a great date night
