Cute place, indoor as well as outdoor seating (mostly outdoor). Waterfront seating overlooks the canals n marina. At night, there’s some lights on the water in case some fish swim by. TVs indoors for sports fans.

At our table we had fish tacos, shrimp po boy, boudin Bree egg rolls, and jumbo shrimp, and dessert was beignets. All were so delicious!! I’d eat here regularly. Don’t miss this gem!!

This local place was super yummy. The servings were great sized. The food was freshly cooked and well deserving of all the stars. The server seemed a little spread thin, but other than that it was fantastic! The bowl of soup is larger than your face just know that up front. The tacos are fresh and delicious about the shrimp and fish. The coconut shrimp was fabulous and the fries were perfection with the perfect crunch. The gumbo had a slight kick just like you like enough to break up your sinuses while keeping with that traditional flavor. The lobster bisque was creamy and delicious with huge chunks of lobster all throughout. This place is worth your time and have some great photo opportunities.

I had one of the best cobb salds ever with a lemon parmesian dressing. My wife had a terrific lemondrop martini and fish and chips which was good but she kept stealing my salad. Chrissy was our server and did an excellent job. She even offered me a job washing dishes.

Great service. Good food. Strong drinks. Bathrooms were messy- no paper towels and the trash overflowing The bartenders wait tables; so they’re handling dirty dishes then squeezing limes into drinks. That was a turn off.

Heavenly food! Gumbo has chicken, shrimp and sausage. The garlic bread is fresh and perfectly toasted. The boudin and brie eggrolls were divine. And the Bloody Mary, well, it’s been a minute since I’ve had one that good! The service was wonderful. Patrick took excellent care of us! The restaurant has plenty of seating options. Upper deck, lower deck, with multiple viewing options. TVs available for viewing sports. Good news, they loves dogs, so bring your furry friend! We pulled the boat up directly to the entrance and walked in for a fun lunch! I love this place!

Nestled in the heart of Jamaica Beach in Galveston Island Texas, Palapa Bar & Restaurant transports you to an open-air layout complete with a nice view of the marina creating a relaxed and laid-back vibe.

This place reminded me of a place for out of town RV’rs and hotel guests to come get a quick bite, (far from fancy)it’s a cool little spot but very disorganized and a rainstorm cuts the available seating in half. Service was not good at first but when we finally snagged a waiter things were ok.

It was a nice local restaurant off the beaten path. Could be a little more sanitary behind the bar. Don’t handle beer cases and then go put lemons in the water.

The food was great and the beer was cold! I had the fish and chips and he had the sampler platter. It was all so good. We sat outside so there was a nice view.
