Hidden gem in Mason!!! Fresh ingredients, flavorful smoked meat, a variety of sides, and very generous portions. Best customer service! We had a lot of questions the first time there, Laura the owner was so warm, welcoming and patient. We ordered a Mac and Cheese Brisket, and an Original Bowl with chicken, LOVED everything we ordered!! Already went back another time and will be back again soon.

UPDATE: I appreciate their quick response. I’m an avid lover of queso con chorizo – not sure; there’s just something off about the queso. Regarding door dash – totally fair how the prices are higher (I had a gift card I needed to use lol) and you can customize. I’ll have to do that in the future.

We’ve been to Mexi-Q twice now, with both times being excellent experiences. Fresh, absolutely delicious food! The smoked brisket birria tacos are out of this world. Easy parking, friendly staff, hearty portions, with melt-in-your mouth smoked meat. Well worth the drive from NKY to Mason!

Food and service was amazing. We booked a private event at the store and could not have asked for anything better! Our experience was so great that I booked thier catering for my daughter’s graduation party. Laura was so helpful and made the whole event run smoothly and even helped with taking photos!

Mexi-Q knocked it out of the park with the customer service, prep, taste, and overall experience!!! Laura and Anthony are amazing and Anthony was extremely professional as he set up the buffet for our golf fundraiser. If you are looking for catering and excellent food I would highly recommend Mexi-Q!!!

I ate from the Mexi-Q food truck at West Side Brewing. Food (Mexican mac n cheese) was lukewarm, watery, and bland. Edible, but definitely not worth $15. I’m told the brisket is better, but it’s not worth trying again.
