They didn’t have ribs on a Saturday at 4PM. I witnessed a woman walk in and walk out due to the ribs, or the lack thereof. Maybe they are compensatory for the service and other food. Maybe they’re a hot commodity reserved for the Brister’s elite who know to arrive long before dinner. Maybe these ribs are the closest intimation of heaven on earth you and I can hope to achieve. I couldn’t tell you, and I don’t plan on going back. It wasn’t a busy day, but it took 25 minutes for two people to get some brisket, chicken, and Mac & cheese (there were only 2 people in line the entire visit and they were behind us). I went back in “line” to order the nachos, and they gave me the wrong size drink. The nachos came out before our first order, even though they were both brisket. I can’t say the nachos were good, but I can say they were like concession stand nachos with a can of beans on top. One of the two-meat meals was supposed to be brisket and chicken but only came with exceptionally undistinguished brisket; not the worst because the chicken was dry and fell off the skin and bones as soon as I picked it up. It wasn’t the best bbq around. I’ve had much worse, though. We didn’t enjoy the nachos and didn’t enjoy the service, though we now have something to joke about. Parking was good, and the atmosphere seemed good. If you want to smell good bbq for half an hour before you eat it, then realize how mediocre it is, I would recommend this place.

Arrived around 7:30pm, ordered a loaded baked potato. Was supposed to be made all the way(meat, cheese, & bacon). Made it home around 7:50pm and realized there was no bacon on my potato, was kind of disappointed but, nonetheless, wasn’t a huge deal. Proceeded to dig into the potato & the 1st thing I noticed was BLACK MOLD! As you can see the mold is right on top, hard to miss believe they didn’t see it when they cut it open to stuff. As if it was acceptable. Tried calling because I knew they close at 8pm and I wouldn’t make it back there in time but no one answered. So I took the pics below and threw it away. Returned the next day & showed them the pics. Ultimately, they did replace the potato but 1st implied that i was lying(based on my judgement) when the pics are clear as day. NO ONE EVEN APOLOGIZED ‍♀️ ohhh & I still didn’t get bacon on the remake. After spending $13.95 the 1st night

First time going…..Not really a bad place to eat…. However on the day I went it was like eating outdoors. The Brisket is Amazing but the FLIES Have Got to Go!!! I had to fight them flies off before they took OFF With my Sandwich! And keep them tables CLEAN so your customers can SIT and Eat In Peace. Otherwise A good place to get a good Brisket Sandwich!!!

The flies! They’re everywhere. If you like bland, tasteless BBQ, then this is the place for you. But you better scarf it down quick before the flies get to it. Wish I had browsed the reviews before agreeing to go to this joint. Met with a party of 12 and all had the same opinion. Almost $40 for 2 and won’t ever consider this place again if in the area. Can’t believe the health department is unaware of whatever conditions are inviting the fly convention.

The brisket was dry and chewy with no flavor. Our to-go order had sides served in cups the same size as the sauce. And no extras like pickles or peppers that other BBQ include. The people were friendly and courteous but for a $20 plate I expected more.

Wow is all I can say. A bunch of kids running a restaurant. Ice machine has been broken for months. They’re now scooping ice out of a bucket behind the counter and they no longer serve water. I asked them for water and they said “all we have are cokes. You can get some out of the bathroom I guess.” Stale Chips and cheese melted to the styrofoam plates. My family and kids were disappointed. Used to love this place it has gone so downhill I will be surprised if it stays open.

Nice BBQ joint. Good food. We had the 1/2 smoked chicken and a rib. Both were cooked to perfection. My wife had the the brisket and pulled pork. I tried both and they were great. The sauce was less spicy than I prefer but the taste was awesome. Service was friendly and reasonably quick. I would eat here again.

3 meat plate can feed a small child but don’t waste your money on tasteless BBQ. Potato salad taste like the stuff you buy from Wal-Mart premade! Very disappointing!!! Will not go back!

The loaded baked potato with chicken was delicious and very filling. Sorry I didn’t take a picture, was hungry. Granddaughter gave her potato with ham a thumbs up too.
