I wanted to try some of the food I miss from my home country. I ordered Varenyky with potatoes and mushrooms. Asked how many pieces were in a portion and was told 18. Which kind of surprised me because that would be a gigantic portion. Only then I understood that Varenyky were Russian style, thin and with little filling unlike the Ukrainian style, puffy and with lots of filling. All in all, they were good. Nothing special. I enjoyed Kompot though, as it was just slightly sweetened and tasted refreshing.

Wanted to try Russian food and this place didn’t disappoint. The borscht was AMAZING and so filling! I ordered dumplings (one chicken and one potatoes and mushrooms) as well and though pretty good, the borscht was the star of the show. Good affordable prices for being not too far from the beach.

Food was nothing more than just ok. Prices are low, but quality isn’t high either. They gave Ali’s almost raw lamb kebab and when we showed it to the waitress – she didn’t care. We left everything on the plate and end up paying for it. Food is 4. Customer service is 0. Probably will take food out if will be in the area.

Great!!! We missed russian food so much and dreamed of okroshka after a long day at the beach. Thank you! Shashlyk, okroshka, manty and vareniki were super-good. Service is not so good though and they accept only cash. Little space inside cafe but if you’d like to try good russian cuisine at very affordable price I recommend this place 🙂

If they say, they are out of borscht, just turn around and come back another time. Seems like all the good reviews are regarding the borscht. Service is very slow and I wouldn’t have minded if the food was great.

Fantastic restaurant, gave me exactly what I wanted. The kebabs were excellent (especially the pork belly), and the owner came out, greeted us, and asked how the food was. I respect that integrity. Borscht, pelmeni, everything.
