I ordered take out. I tried the Pho with brisket and the Chicken Pho. The broth was excellent on both but….the brisket was all fat. I had one bite of meat. The chicken was so tough that I couldn’t chew it. The basil, cilantro and bean sprouts were old. I have eaten at this restaurant in the past and it was OK. This time I gave it two stars and I am being generous. Since I ordered take out, I discovered the horror when I got home. I called the restaurant and described my dishes and the young lady was NO help. So sad!

Great restaurant! If you need a Viet fix and you don’t want to drive far away to get it. This is the best place. It might be the top pho in anchorage but it’s definitely consistently good. The restaurant has convenient parking as well as a clean restaurant. The only reason I dinged it a star was because it’s not as good(portion wise) as some of the other top Viet places which are a little farther away

The food was good but but I notices they helped themselves to a tip when I compared my receipt to my bank statement, going to the bank with my receipt to make sure if the charge was correct

We went mainly to have their amazing and delicious thick chicken noodle soup, Kao Peak Sen, but ended up with so much more than we could handle. Service was great with our little waitress helping her Mom. They also had ready-to-eat fried sesame balls for 4 pk/$5.00. It’s locally owned and operated and a must-try business.

Not the greatest. The chicken in the fresh rolls were so dry, I could barely swallow it!! Pho was a little on the bland side.

I keep forgetting about this place, mainly because it is out of the way for me, but man is it good! Pho is on point, tried a different dish this last time… can’t remember the name but it is #47 on the menu, spicy and flavorful. Add a side of fried pork belly for a welcoming crunch!

Thought I’d try Pho Lena on the East side of town and now I regret it. Packaging of the food was very lazy AND literally the pad Thai I ordered was so full of oil/sauce that it spilled everywhere. I’ve never eaten a pad Thai where it was oily or spilled like this. Also ordered the yellow curry w/ chicken and felt like I only got about 2-3 pieces of chicken. Thai coffee wasn’t the best either. Don’t think I’ll come to the East Pho Lena again.

If you’re in a rush and trying to order something to go, be sure to place your order at least an hour before you want to pick it up. They seem to make all food for their customers who are eating in first (I don’t blame them). Just feel this should be known for anyone who was trying to avoid the really long wait. The also don’t have soy sauce packets for to go orders. Food is pretty good though
