My favorite local Thai place! I’m here way too often best time to try them is at lunch. Their lunch menu is affordable and great portion size! And includes the most delicious soup you can only get at lunch! A must try place, haven’t brought anyone who didn’t enjoy it! My favorite is the chicken Kang Karee, hot green tea, chicken satay, spring rolls. But also haven’t tried anything that wasn’t great! Also love me some of the sesame chicken every now and then.

I will start by saying I have eaten here for years and loved it. I raved about the place to my son and he was taking me on a date here for Mother’s Day today. Well, they served him soured shrimp that had to have smelled terrible before they cooked it and decided to put it on his plate. He took one bite and had a look on his face that told me something was wrong. He asked me to try it so I took a bite and almost threw up. I politely called the girl behind the register to our table and whispered that the shrimp was bad. She took it back to the cook and you could literally hear her yelling. My son felt so bad. The lady then comes out and tells us we are still paying for the shrimp because this most be the first time my son had shrimp. My son told her he had shrimp before. She then asked if this was our first time there like that made a difference. He told her he would try the dish with beef instead. When she was walking back to the kitchen, she turned around and said something under her breath and gestured to my son. At this point, I got up, banged on the kitchen door and told her not to bother fixing him anything else and we were leaving. My dish was delightful and I hated to leave but I can tell you I will never eat here again and will no longer recommend them to anyone. I’m sure I have encouraged MANY friends yo eat here but those days are OVER.

The food was absolutely wonderful! I was looking for somewhere to eat that had gluten-free, egg-free, and dairy-free options. Thips Thai has gluten-free and vegan options clearly marked on their menu. I asked about the summer rolls because I didn’t see them listed on the lunch menu and they happily let me order them anyway. They were able to accommodate my dietary needs and acted it was no big deal. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. I will definitely have to return here the next time I’m near St. Louis.

Love this place! we go almost weekly! I love the Pad Greenbeans with Chicken. I usually get a 2 spice but get a 3 spice if I feel I need an extra little heat that day.

Been coming here for 15 years but lately the service is terrible. They have one person working the inside, there were maybe 5 tables. Took half an hour for our food to even start coming out and then they bring out one thing at a time 5 minutes apart from each other. An order of spring rolls….5 minutes later, a bowl of rice….5 minutes later, noodles. By the 3rd thing I was ready to walk out. Meanwhile to-go orders are flying out the door. Either give the people that come into your restaurant decent service or make it 100% to-go. That meal INFURIATED me.

I’ve had several coworkers recommend Thip’s Thai Cuisine and I finally stopped in to see if the talk was true. The short answer is YES! Their dining area was clean and well maintained. My waitress was friendly and very helpful when I asked for a recommendation. Normally, I go for Pad See Eew when I get Thai but I wanted to try something different, she suggested the Udon Noodles and I got that with chicken as the meat. First came their lunch soup. It had a rich, meaty bullion flavor with green onion and a hint of something sweet. I gulped that down in an instant…AWESOME! Then came the lunch plate with a spring roll. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection /drool. I got it at spicy heat level 1, I wanted a little heat but not enough to overpower the dish. The chili paste sauce was the secret star the show. I couldn’t tell what seasonings were used but it took the whole dish to the next level of goodness. This was my first time trying Udon Noodles and I loved everything about it. The texture, smell, and taste was awesome in every way. It had me working my chop sticks hard to get every bite. Finally, I had a good conversation with the staff and they were simply delightful to get to know. Places like this are well worth anyone’s time for the quality food and service. They were kind enough to pose for a picture that’s posted here and I was very honored to meet these amazing people. Thip’s Thai Cuisine will impress you, do yourself a favor and give them a try!
